SOLID DETERGENT
One aspect of the present invention provides a solid detergent, which is manufactured by compressing a mixture including 20 to 40 wt % of a sodium lauryl sulfoacetate powder; 50 to 70 wt % of a sugar powder; and 1 to 10 wt % of a sodium hydrogen carbonate powder, into tablets.
Solid and liquid textile-treating compositions
Provided herein are solid textile treating compositions; compositions containing colorants stabilized with one or more colorant stabilizers; compositions containing colorants that do not need to be stabilized by one or more colorant stabilizers; solid wash cycle conditioning agents; liquid textile treating compositions; cleaning agent compositions containing these; methods of making these; methods of treating textiles with these; textiles treated by these; containers containing the compositions; and methods of visually designating when a composition has reached or passed its pull date.
Process for preparing compositions comprising alkyl(alkyl-glucoside)uronates, said compositions and use thereof as a surfactant
Some embodiments relate to a novel process for preparing compositions including alkyl(alkyl-glucoside)uronates, from biobased or biocompatible/biodegradable raw materials, and also salts and acids thereof.
Ophthalmic and contact lens solutions containing simple saccharides as preservative enhancers
The present invention relates to an ophthalmic solution comprising 0.00001 to 10.0 weight percent of a simple saccharide, at least 0.00001 weight percent of a preservative, and not more than about 0.2 percent by weight chloride. The simple saccharide is chosen from the group consisting of: inositol; mannitol; sorbitol; sucrose; dextrose; glycerin; propylene glycol; ribose; triose; tetrose; erythrose; threose; pentose; arabinose; ribulose; xylose; xylulose; lyxose; hexose; allose; altrose; fructose; galactose; glucose; gulose; idose; mannose; sorbose; talose; tagatose; adlose; ketose; heptose; sedoheptulose; monosaccharides; disaccharides; sugar alcohols; xylitol; and polyol.
Detergent compositions having an improved profile against efflorescence
Provided herein are detergent formulations which can effectively suppress efflorescence in unit dose detergent packs. In accordance with one embodiment, the detergent formulations comprise an alkyl ethoxysulfate component having an alkyl chain length of about 12-18 carbon atoms and about 2-9 moles of ethylene oxide and a cation, an alcohol ethoxylate component having an alkyl chain length of about 12-18 carbon atoms and about 5-9 moles of ethylene oxide, high fructose corn syrup, and a liquid carrier.
Foam Boosting Saccharide Blend
Disclosed is a foam booster that is capable of producing or increasing the amount of foam in any given composition. The foam booster includes a saccharide blend having 30 wt. % to 50 wt. % of an aldohexose or mixture of aldohexoses, 20 wt. % to 55 wt. % of a ketohexose or mixture of ketohexoses; and 10 wt. % to 20 wt. % of a disaccharide or mixture of disaccharides.
Detergent composition comprising xanthan lyase and endoglucanase variants with improved stability
A detergent composition may include xanthan lyase and endoglucanase variants with improved stability. Methods for use of said compositions are also disclosed.
REDUCED MIST ALKALINE CLEANER VIA THE USE OF ALKALI SOLUBLE EMULSION POLYMERS
Alkaline sprayable aqueous compositions for cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting are disclosed. In particular, the sprayable compositions include an alkali soluble emulsion polymer, an alkalinity source, a foaming agent, and water. Beneficially, the sprayable cleaning compoistions have reduced misting and are environmentally safe for users to apply. Further the compositions exhibit less running on non-horizontal surfaces than acrylamide-based compositions.
FATTY ACID REACTION PRODUCTS OF DEXTRINS OR DEXTRAN FORMULATED WITH A SURFACTANT
Compositions comprising a neutral surfactant or a reaction product thereof and a reaction product of a saccharide polymer and a fatty acid may be obtained in the presence of water and a hydroxide base (optionally in the presence of the neutral surfactant), the saccharide polymer comprising a dextran, a dextrin compound, or any combination thereof. The reaction product of the saccharide polymer and the fatty acid may be present at a concentration effective to lower surface tension of the neutral surfactant. Depending on the fatty acid identity, among other factors, the compositions may promote emulsification or de-emulsification. In addition, the compositions may promote foam formation under appropriate conditions. Treatment fluids comprising the compositions, including foamed treatment fluids, may be introduced into a subterranean formation to perform a treatment operation in which fluid emulsification or de-emulsification may occur. The reaction products may be incorporated in soaps and other personal care products.
EFFERVESCENT SOLID DOSAGE FORM COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFER ANTI-MICROBIAL COMPONENTS
Provided are effervescent solid dosage form compositions that produce solutions when dissolved in a solvent that have increased shelf life and storage stability. The effervescent solid dosage form compositions include a sugar acid lactone in an amount in the range of about 1 wt % to about 15 wt %, based on the total weight of the composition; a preservative comprising salt of benzoic acid or sorbic acid or a combination thereof in an amount in the range of about 1 wt % to about 15 wt %, based on the total weight of the composition, and an effervescence generator.
