Treatment compositions
The present invention relates to treatment compositions containing polymer systems that provide stability and benefit agent deposition as well as methods of making and using same. Such treatment compositions may be used for example as through the wash and/or through the rinse fabric enhancers as well as unit dose treatment compositions.
Method of use of composition comprising a quaternary ammonium compound, a cationic polysaccharide and a nonionic polysaccharide
The present invention relates to a method for enhancing fragrance or perfume longevity of a composition by adding to the composition (a) a quaternary ammonium compound; (b) a cationic polysaccharide; (c) a nonionic polysaccharide; and (d) a fragrance material or perfume. In particular, the quaternary ammonium compound is a biodegradable quaternary ammonium compound. The composition has improved perfume longevity.
FLEXIBLE, POROUS, DISSOLVABLE SOLID SHEET ARTICLE CONTAINING DIRECT-ADDED MICROCAPSULES AND PROCESS FOR MAKING THE SAME
Flexible, dissolvable, porous solid sheet articles which include direct-added microcapsules therein for delivering a benefit agent and a process for making such solid sheet articles.
Highly Alkaline Detergent Composition
Present invention relates to a detergent composition and a method for preparing the composition. The composition may be a compressed tablet, a coated tablet, in form of small granules or pearls packed in a dose unit. The composition may also be formulated so as to be an effervescent composition. The detergent composition may conveniently be used in the food industry for cleaning of appliances in food processing and preparation or in the metal industry for cleaning of appliances with respect to soot or oil residues.
LIPOSOMES-CONTAINING ANTIFOULING COMPOSITIONS AND USES THEREOF
A method of inhibiting adsorption of a biofouling-promoting agent on a surface of a substrate and a method of inhibiting biofilm formation on a surface of a substrate are disclosed herein. The methods comprise comprising contacting the substrate with a composition which comprises liposomes. Further disclosed herein is a composition comprising liposomes, identified for use in inhibiting adsorption of a biofouling-promoting agent on a surface of a substrate and/or inhibiting biofilm formation on a surface of a substrate. Further disclosed are articles comprising a substrate and a composition described herein being applied on a surface of the substrate, and a method of treating keratitis in a contact lens-wearing subject, by rinsing and/or immersing a contact lens in a solution comprising liposomes.
CONTACT LENS CARE SOLUTION
The invention is related to a contact lens care solution comprising a buffer solution, a chelating agent, a surfactant and a wetting agent, wherein the wetting agent comprises 100 parts by weight of glycerol, 0.5 to 40 parts by weight of vinylacetamide-containing polymer and 5 to 40 parts by weight of alginic acid.
Perfume-free malodor reducing compositions
Perfume-free malodor reducing compositions comprising a malodor binding polymer and a malodor counteractant are provided. In some embodiments, the composition comprises a malodor binding polymer and GLDA. Such compositions may be used to reduce malodor on inanimate surfaces or in the air.
GLUCOSE GEMINI SURFACTANT COMPOUND AND METHOD FOR PREPARATION THEREOF
The present invention discloses a glucose gemini surfactant compound comprising a dodecyl glucose gemini surfactant and tetradecyltrimethylammonium chloride, or a tetradecyl glucose gemini surfactant and cetyl trimethylammonium bromide; the present invention also discloses a process for the preparation of the glucose gemini surfactant compounds. The glucose gemini surfactant compounds of the invention have the high activity characteristic of the gemini surfactant and is suitable for the separation and extraction of the detergents and the biofilm protein, and are novel non-toxic or low toxic and biodegradable glycosyl gemini surfactants. The preparation method of the compound surfactants is simple and easy to be industrialized.
Method for passivating substrate surfaces
A method for passivating substrate surfaces by removing surface contaminants. The method can remove impurities and components from the surface of a substrate to prevent corrosion and undesirable chemical activity. The method further provides an optimized surface for the application of protective barrier coatings. The method provides significant cost savings due to increased life of substrate, reduced maintenance, and superior barrier coating performance.
PEARLY LIQUID DETERGENT COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a pearly liquid detergent composition comprising a thickener, a pearlescent agent and perfume capsules. The present invention further relates to a method for cleaning textiles using such a pearly liquid detergent composition.
