Disinfectant material

A disinfectant material may be used to kill bacteria, viruses, mold and fungal contaminants while minimizing toxic risks to humans. The disinfectant material may be effective in killing pathogens and more on numerous types of surfaces including on the skin of mammals. Exemplary embodiments include a copper halogen, such as copper iodide. Exemplary materials may also include a pH stabilizer, a preservative, humectants, or other constituents. Exemplary disinfectant materials may be used as a liquid or a gel, applied via a wipe, sprayed or in other forms.

Solid fabric conditioner composition and method of use

The present invention relates to a composition and method for treating a textile under industrial and institutional fabric care conditions to impart softness with reduced yellowing. More particularly, the present invention relates to a solid fabric conditioning composition and a method for treating a textile with a solid fabric conditioning composition.

Mechanism of urea/solid acid interaction under storage conditions and storage stable solid compositions comprising urea and acid

Solid rinsing, cleaning and/or sanitizing compositions for various applications are provided. In particular, solid compositions include a complex of urea and an acid having desirable storage stability previously unavailable in solid urea/acid compositions. Stable solid compositions are disclosed and methods of making the same to overcome conventional limitations associated with forming kinetically and thermodynamically stable solids that utilize urea/acid compositions.

REDUCED VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUND SURFACTANT COMPOSITIONS

A surfactant composition includes 60 wt % or greater of a surfactant based on a total weight of the surfactant composition. 0.01 wt % to 1 wt % of an antioxidant, and 0.01 wt % to 5 wt % of a hydroxyl amine having structure (I) based on the total weight of the surfactant composition wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 of Structure (I) are independently selected from the group consisting of H, an alkanolamine, or a hydroxyl alkyl group with linear or branched carbon chain having from 1 to 8 carbons, and R.sub.4 of Structure (I) is selected from the group consisting of an alkanolamine, or a hydroxyl alkyl group with linear or branched carbon chain having from 1 to 8 carbons.

Composition comprising an alkaline base and thioglycolate salt for cleaning and decontaminating animal carcasses

Compositions and methods for cleaning and decontaminating animal carcasses are disclosed. The compositions comprise a mud ball remover having a thioglycolate salt and a base and an antimicrobial agent effective to remove mud balls and reduce microbial contamination of a hide surface at ambient temperatures. The methods comprise cleaning and decontaminating an animal carcass by applying the disclosed compositions onto the surface of the animal carcass to soften and loosen foreign debris attached to the carcass followed by mechanically removing the foreign debris while preserving the integrity and quality of the hide byproduct and resulting leather articles.

BIO-BASED CLEANER ADDITIVE

A detergent additive comprising (i) a biochelant; (ii) a ring-opener, and (iii) a solvent. A method of treating a contaminated surface comprising contacting a detergent and a detergent additive with the contaminated surface wherein the detergent additive comprises (i) a biochelant; (ii) a ring-opener, and (iii) a solvent.

SURFACTANT COMPOSITIONS INCLUDING HYDRAZIDE

A surfactant composition includes 60 wt % or greater of a surfactant based on a total weight of the surfactant composition and 0.01 wt % to 1 wt % of a hydrazide antioxidant.

Pyrithione preservative system in solid rinse aid products

Solid rinse aid compositions and methods of making and using the same are disclosed. Solid rinse aid compositions include in a single concentrate composition a pyrithione preservative system to replace conventional preservatives in the isothiazolinone family, such as chloromethylisothiazolinone. Beneficially, the pyrithione preservative systems eliminate the need for any personal protective equipment to handle the solid rinse aid compositions. Methods of making and use using the rinse aids are also disclosed.
