STRUCTURED LIQUID COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING COLLOIDAL DISPERSIONS OF POLY ALPHA-1,3-GLUCAN

Polysaccharides can be used to provide a liquid composition with desirable rheological properties while being compatible with other ingredients, such as enzymes, that may be used in formulating the liquid composition. The polysaccharides can be i) a colloidal dispersion of poly alpha-1,3-glucan, ii) poly alpha-1,3-glucan fibrids, iii) soy polysaccharide; or iv) a combination thereof.

METHODS OF USING A SOIL RELEASE POLYMER

The invention provides methods of cleaning including the use of a soil release polymer. In some embodiments, the soil release polymer can be included in a neutral to low alkalinity prewash or main wash that is substantially free of hydroxide-based alkalinity. In some embodiments, the soil release polymer can be included in a neutral to low alkalinity prewash that is substantially free of hydroxide-based alkalinity, followed by an alkaline main wash with any alkalinity source.

LEUCO POLYMERS AS BLUING AGENTS IN LAUNDRY CARE COMPOSITIONS

A method of obtaining a laundry care composition, the method comprising the steps of (a) reacting a compound with a polymer to form a leuco polymer and (b) mixing the leuco polymer with at least one laundry care ingredient. The compound includes at least one leuco moiety and at least one electrophilic group. The polymer is comprised of co-monomers of an aryl dicarboxylate, an oxyalkyleneoxy and an oxypolyalkyleneoxy and the polymer comprises at least one moiety selected from the group consisting of hydroxy, sulfhydryl, primary amine and secondary amine.

POLYESTER COMPOUNDS AND THEIR USES

Disclosed herein are polyesters including at least one diacid-based building block, at least one diol-based building block and at least one polyol-based building block, where the diacid-based building block includes a group of formula (I)

PROCESS FOR PREPARING A SPRAY-DRIED LAUNDRY DETERGENT PARTICLE

The present invention relates to a process for preparing a spray-dried laundry detergent particle, wherein the process includes the step of contacting zeolite to monomeric organic carboxylic acid in an aqueous mixture, wherein the aqueous mixture has a pH of 4.2 or less, wherein the aqueous mixture includes detersive surfactant, wherein the aqueous mixture is substantially free of silicate salt, and wherein the aqueous mixture is substantially free of carbonate salt, wherein the zeolite reacts with the monomeric organic carboxylic acid to form silica, wherein the aqueous mixture is spray-dried to form a spray-dried laundry detergent particle, wherein the particle includes: detersive surfactant; monomeric organic carboxylic acid; and silica, wherein the particle is substantially free of silicate salt, and wherein the particle is substantially free of carbonate salt.
