FABRIC CARE COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING EMULSIONS
Fabric care compositions comprising bi-modal water continuous emulsions are disclosed. In particular, the fabric care compositions comprise a bi-modal water continuous emulsion (E) comprising at least 70 weight percent of: a first dispersed phase containing a hydrophobic oil, wherein the hydrophobic oil is provided as a non-emulsified hydrophobic oil, and a second dispersed phase containing a silicone, wherein the silicone is provided from a water continuous silicone emulsion containing at least one surfactant. The fabric care compositions further comprise at least one fabric care ingredient (F). Optionally, the fabric care ingredient (F) is in an acceptable medium. Preparation methods and uses of the fabric care compositions are also disclosed.
CATIONIC POLYMER THICKENERS
The invention relates to a process for preparing a cationic polymer thickener in particle form, said polymer consisting of a crosslinked water swellable cationic polymer comprising at least one cationic water soluble monomer and optionally at least one non-ionic water soluble monomer and/or at least one anionic water soluble monomer, wherein said polymer has a water extractable polymer content lower than 15 wt % as compared to the weight of the polymer, and wherein said polymer is obtained by gel polymerization of said monomers in the presence of from 500 ppm to 10.000 ppm of crosslinking agent relative to the weight of the monomers.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING POWDER LAUNDRY DETERGENT
A method for producing a powder detergent; said method comprising steps of: (a) combining (i) a polymer comprising polymerized units of at least one nitrogen-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer having at least one pKa value from 6 to 11.5 and at least one ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, (ii) at least one surfactant, (iii) inorganic salts and (iv) water to form a slurry; wherein the slurry has a solids content from 50 to 90 wt %; and (b) spray drying the slurry to form a powder detergent.
DISPERSANT, DISPERSED MATERIAL, RESIN COMPOSITION, MIXTURE SLURRY, ELECTRODE FILM, AND NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a dispersant which enables the production of a dispersed material having excellent dispersibility and storage stability even when the dispersant is used in a small amount; a dispersed material having excellent dispersibility and storage stability; an electrode film having excellent adhesiveness and electrical conductivity; and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery having excellent rate properties and cycle properties. The problem can be solved by a dispersant which is a polymer containing 40 to 100% by mass of a (meth)acrylonitrile-derived unit and having a weight average molecular weight of 5,000 to 400,000.
Detergent additive
A detergent additive comprising an active, the active comprising one or both of tetraacetylethylenediamine or triacetylethylenediamine; and the reaction product of a compound that functions as a Michael donor and a compound that functions as a Michael acceptor; wherein, the compound that functions as a Michael donor is selected from the group consisting of acetoacetate esters, cyanoacetate esters and malonic acid esters; the compound that functions as a Michael acceptor is a multifunctional acrylate; and the weight percent of the tetraacetylethylenediamine in the detergent additive is 10 to 90 percent.
Solid Fabric Care Compositions and Methods for the Same
Fabric care compositions and methods for preparing the fabric care composition and delivering increased fragrance intensity to a fabric are provided. The fabric care composition may include a water hydratable solid and capsules dispersed in the water hydratable solid. The water hydratable solid may include one or more water soluble polymers, such as a hydroxyalkyl cellulose polymer, one or more cationic polymers, such as a polyquat, and one or more starches. The capsules may include a fragrance encapsulated therein.
