POLYPEPTIDE VARIANTS
The present invention relates to polypeptide variants and methods for obtaining variants. The present invention also relates to polynucleotides encoding the variants; nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the polynucleotides; and methods of using the variants.
SUBTILISIN VARIANTS HAVING IMPROVED STABILITY
Disclosed herein is one or more subtilisin variant, nucleic acid encoding same, and compositions and methods related to the production and use thereof, including one or more subtilisin variant that has improved stability compared to one or more reference subtilisin.
CLEANING COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING ENZYMES
Cleaning compositions and methods of cleaning comprising endo--1,3-glucanase enzyme and surfactant. The weight ratio of surfactant to active endo--1,3-glucanase enzyme protein is at least about 1000:1. The compositions and methods are particularly for cleaning cotton fabrics.
NATURAL LAUNDRY SOAPS
A series of natural soaps, both liquid and solid, and methods of making thereof, which have a synergistic effect when formulated with anti-redeposition ingredients in laundry applications both in synthetic and natural textiles and fabrics. The fatty acids and/or natural oils based series of natural soaps include both sodium and potassium soap products that interact synergistically with, preferably, known, natural anti-redeposition agents and alkaline builders creating highly effective, natural solid (bar or powdered) and liquid laundry cleaning products. Solid forms soaps are dried to an acceptable amount of moisture content for milling. Further blending is then performed with various natural anti-redeposition agents or natural products which exhibit said characteristics and/or alkaline builders. The solid forms may be formed into single dose tablets. Effervescent additives may further be included.
DETERGENTS AND CLEANERS WITH IMPROVED CLEANING POWER THROUGH THE USE OF CARBOHYDRATES
A liquid aqueous composition comprises or consists of a) at least one specific carbohydrate or a derivative thereof and b) at least one surfactant. A detergent or cleaner may include the liquid aqueous composition. In addition, the use of the liquid, aqueous composition as a detergent or cleaner for an improved stain removal and the use of the specific carbohydrate or a derivative thereof as a stain remover is also disclosed.
MULTI-COMPONENT DETERGENTS OR CLEANSERS CONTAINING A QUINONE OXIDOREDUCTASE
Detergents or cleansers may include at least one quinone oxidoreductase, an NAD(P)H cofactor, and a first substrate for the quinone oxidoreductase. The quinone oxidoreductase may be spatially separated from the NAD(P)H cofactor and/or first substrate. The detergent or cleanser may also include at least one inhibitor of the quinone oxidoreductase. A method for washing textiles or automatic dishwashing using this detergent or cleanser is also disclosed.
DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING BACTERIAL MANNANASES
This present disclosure relates to novel detergent compositions comprising bacterial mannanase enzymes. The detergent compositions comprising bacterial mannanases are useful in laundry and cleaning applications wherein degradation or modification of mannan is desired. The present disclosure also relates to the use of said detergent compositions in laundry and cleaning applications as well as a method for degrading mannan.
CLEANING AGENT
A cleaning agent comprising a supporting substrate with an oxidoreductase enzyme immobilized thereon wherein the oxidoreductase enzyme is selected from oxidoreductase enzymes having an enzyme classification number selected from the group consisting of E.C. 1.1-1.10 and E.C. 1.12-1.99.
NONWOVEN WIPES, CLEANING COMPOSITIONS, AND ASSOCIATED PACKAGING
A single-use wipe includes a nonwoven fabric, at least one pocket defined within the fabric, the at least one pocket configured to receive at least a portion of a hand of a user of the wipe, and one or more creases defining at least one fold, wherein the wipe is configured to be folded on the one or more creases prior to being inserted into a package. The package is configured to house a burst pod containing a quantity of a fluid such as a cleanser including, for example, glucose oxidase. Prior to removal of the wipe from the package, the burst pod can be ruptured, thereby at least partially saturating the wipe with the cleanser. The then at least partially saturate wipe can be removed from the package, unfolded and used.
