The present invention relates to a system (S) for conveying fowl giblets (not shown) that is installed in a machine (M) for processing fowl giblets (not shown) to clean said giblets (not shown). The system (S) includes a station (1) for guiding giblets (not shown) against a cleaning assembly (2), both of which are simultaneously moved by a movement assembly (4) so that the guide station (1) continuously shakes and presses the giblets (not shown) against the cleaning assembly (2), the movement of said station removing residual parts from the giblets (not shown) passing through the system (S).

PROCESSING LINE AND METHOD FOR INSPECTING POULTRY CARCASSES AND/OR VISCERA PACKAGES

Method and processing line for inspecting a poultry carcass and/or a viscera package taken out from the poultry carcass. The poultry carcass and/or viscera package may be suspended from a poultry carrier and a viscera carrier that move in the processing line. The inspection may be carried out by an inspector selecting a particular poultry carcass and/or viscera package as to be rejected. A selection device can be operated to select the poultry carcass and/or viscera package suspended from the carrier to be rejected.

Systems and methods for antimicrobial application and related data collection

The systems and methods can include calculating a dwell time or density of workpieces in a vessel; and modulating the one or more conditions of the system based on the dwell time or density of workpieces in the vessel. In an example, the system includes a vessel configured to carry a working fluid and a plurality of workpieces at least partially submerged in the working fluid; a delivery train configured to introduce workpieces into the vessel; a first counting sensor configured to generate an entrance signal based upon a workpiece introduced into the vessel; a transport train configured to transport workpieces introduced into the vessel to an exit of the vessel; a removal train configured to remove workpieces from the vessel through the exit; and a second counting sensor configured to generate an exit signal based upon a workpiece removed from the vessel through the exit.

Evisceration apparatus and a method for eviscerating suspended poultry

An evisceration apparatus for eviscerating a poultry carcass suspended by the legs. An exemplary apparatus includes an evisceration tool that is movable up and down, and into and out of a body cavity of the poultry. The evisceration tool includes two bracket halves that connect to each other with a hinge at a lower extremity of the tool. The two bracket halves are embodied with cooperating clamping faces adjacent to the hinge for clamping a part of the viscera of the poultry when the two bracket halves are moved towards each other from an open position into a closed position.

Method and device for evisceration of slaughtered poultry

A method for eviscerating slaughtered poultry having a carcass with a viscera pack in a body cavity of the carcass, includes entering the body cavity of the retained carcass with an eviscerating tool via an opened vent end, passing a front end of the eviscerating tool along the breast side of the body cavity so that the front end thereof moves past the viscera pack at least till beyond the liver, using a gizzard pre-lifting tool, which is entered into the body cavity of the retained carcass via the opened vent end, which gizzard pre-lifting tool is operated to grasp the gizzard and/or belly fat bonded to the gizzard and is operated to lift the gizzard thereby entraining a further portion of the viscera pack, the lifting of the gizzard being performed prior to the front end of the eviscerating tool passing along the breast side.
