WHEEL ASSEMBLY WITH INTEGRATED SENSOR FOR AN AGRICULUTRAL IMPLEMENT
In one aspect, a wheel assembly configured for use with an agricultural implement. The wheel assembly includes a wheel comprising an outer ground-engaging element and an inner hub extending radially inwardly from the outer ground-engaging element. The wheel defines an internal cavity radially inwardly relative to the outer ground-engaging element. The wheel assembly further includes a sensor positioned within the internal cavity of the press wheel.
Agricultural air cart assembly with individually controlled product distribution lines
An agricultural air cart assembly includes an agricultural air cart. The agricultural air cart includes independently controllable, first and second product metering systems that regulate the rates at which product flows from a storage compartment into corresponding first and second distribution lines. Independently controllable, rotatable fans are operatively connected to corresponding first and second distribution lines and are configured to generate optimized air flows in the first and second distribution lines which entrain and carry the product downstream toward corresponding row units at balanced pressures.
Gate retention for an inductor box of an agricultural implement
An inductor box for an agricultural implement includes an inlet configured to receive agricultural product from a tank. The inductor box also includes a housing having a cavity therein. The cavity is configured to receive the agricultural product from the inlet. The inductor box includes a gate configured to be removably inserted between the inlet and the cavity, to block the agricultural product from entering the cavity while disposed between the inlet and the cavity, and to enable the agricultural product to enter the cavity while removed from being disposed between the inlet and the cavity. The inductor box includes a first guide coupled to the housing and configured to direct the gate away from the inlet. The first guide is disposed between the gate and the inlet while the gate is disposed between the inlet and the cavity.
Agricultural seeder implement including seed boot with ramped seed-conveying channel
An agricultural seeder implement includes a seed boot connected to an opener. The seed boot includes a channel extending from an inlet to an outlet behind a leading extremity of the opener, a deflecting surface facing downwardly into the channel toward the outlet, and a ramp facing inwardly into the channel between the inlet and the outlet. The opener is for cutting a furrow in the ground by the leading extremity ahead of the outlet, and the channel is for guiding a stream of air-driven seed forwardly therethrough from the inlet and downwardly into the furrow through the outlet, wherein the ramp is in-turned toward the deflecting surface for deflecting the stream of air-driven seed through the channel inwardly to the deflecting surface, and the deflecting surface is for deflecting the stream of air-driven seed received from the ramp downwardly to and through the outlet into the furrow.
Seed furrow liquid application systems, methods, and apparatuses
In one aspect, a crop input applicator is provided. In one aspect, the applicator comprises a valve (e.g., voice coil valve) disposed to deposit liquid on or near a seed furrow and/or on or near a seed. In one aspect, the applicator includes one or more seed sensors disposed to detect passage of seeds.

In one aspect, the applicator includes one or more seed sensors disposed to detect passage of seeds.
Metering device for metering bulk material
A metering device and a distributing machine for metering free-flowing bulk material, in particular seeds and/or fertilizer, from a container, using a metering device. The metering device includes a delivery channel with an inlet and a metering outlet, and a pressure compensation section disposed in the delivery channel between the inlet and the metering outlet. The pressure compensation section is actuated by a pressure difference between the delivery channel and the surroundings.
Seed distribution tower with modular components
The seed distribution tower of an air seeder has a distribution head that splits a single, primary stream of conveying air and seeds into a plurality of secondary streams for delivery to openers that deposit the seeds into the ground as the seeder advances. The outlets through which the secondary streams exit the head are constructed as modules that can be individually installed and replaced without disassembling the entire head. Shut-off valves and/or flow sensors may or may not be incorporated into certain or all of the modules to provide optimum user flexibility.
Metering system with variable discharge
An improved particulate metering system is provided with variable blend, application rate, and section control. The system includes a plurality of particulate mixing areas, each having an air input and a plurality of particulate inputs. A plurality of particulate sources is provided, each being in communication with a particulate input of a particulate mixing area. A separate type of particulate can be in each of the plurality of particulate sources. The system includes a plurality of operated conveyances, each being in communication with a particulate source and a particulate input. Each of the plurality of particulate mixing areas can receive air from the air input and a separate type of particulate, and can discharge an air-particulate mixture. One or more metering controls operably control one or more of the operated conveyances.
REVERSIBLE SEED TRENCH APPURTENANCE ASSEMBLY
A reversible seed trench appurtenance for a row unit of an agricultural planter. The seed trench appurtenance includes an upper portion and a trailing portion. The upper portion is received within a mounting bracket attached to the row unit of the planter. The seed trench appurtenance is movable between a normal operating position in which the trailing portion extends into the seed trench. When the row unit is reversed in a direction opposite the forward direction of travel, the seed trench appurtenance moves from the normal operating position to a reversing position in which the trailing portion is vertically above the normal operating position thereby avoiding damage to the seed trench appurtenance and the mounting bracket.
