Reseeding device
A reseeding device (1) is configured for introducing grass seeds into an existing turf, comprising a rotatable shaft (2) which is provided with a number of blades (3) along its length which are at right angles to the shaft (2) and which are configured for cutting furrows into the turf and loosening and removing parts of the turf, a seed distributor (4) configured for spreading grass seeds at least in the furrows produced, in which the device (1) is configured, in use, to discharge the material loosened by the blades (3) over the shaft (2) and the seed distributor (4), along a direction (A) opposite to the direction of travel, so that the scattered grass seeds are at least partly covered by the loosened material. This reseeding device (1) prevents loosend material from forming an ipediment during reseeding.
Air filtration module for coated seed planters
Disclosed is an air filtration module for seed planters. The filtration module includes a filter cartridge with a filter media disposed therein. The cartridge is sized and shaped to fit into the stock seed hopper. The filter media is configured to filter out and contain particles of seed coating materials that contain neonicotinoids and/or other airborne contaminants. The filter cartridge can replace the porous seed container wall through which compressed air is discharged out the seed hopper air discharge vent.
Agricultural air cart assembly with individually controllable air flow in the product distribution lines
The agricultural product application equipment, and in particular, to an agricultural air cart assembly where each distribution line is a self-contained unit with movable shroud portion that provides greater airflow control in each of the product distribution lines.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DISPENSING GRANULAR MATERIAL
This document relates to a method and a device for feeding granular material in an agricultural implement and to an agricultural implement comprising such a device. The method comprises providing a take-up zone (102), the extent of which, viewed in a horizontal plane, is defined by a roof (1022, 1026) above the take-up zone, providing side walls (1023, 1027) extending downward from the roof, so that a space (S), which is open in the downward direction and toward an outlet (102b), is formed between the roof (1022, 1026) and the side walls (1023, 1027), providing an airflow (F) through the take-up zone (102) in the direction toward the outlet (102b) from the take-up zone, feeding the material (M) to the take-up zone (102) with the aid of gravity, so that the material falls in a direction transversely to the airflow (F) into the take-up zone (102) and thus delimits the space (S) in the downward direction, providing a part (1022, 1025) which is adjustable between at least two positions, and, with the aid of the adjustable part (1022, 1025), regulating a flow rate of the airflow (F) in a space between the material (M) and the roof (1022, 1026).
ROW UNIT FOR A DOUBLE-SHOOT DRILL USING TWO STAGGERED DISCS
A double-shoot disc-opener row unit for use with agricultural implements includes two discs that form two separate trenches in a planting surface of a field. The mechanical connection between the two discs provides an adjustable longitudinal separation between the discs to prevent an overlap between the discs from a point view perpendicular to the direction of travel of the row unit. The longitudinal separation may reduce the interference of the flow of soil from one disc from interfering with the formations of trenches by the other disc. An adjustable lateral separation between the discs may also provide for a separation between the trenches produced by the different discs.

Forward rotating transport axle
A forward folding implement is provided. The implement includes a telescoping tongue to allow forward folding wings of the implement. At one end of the tongue are positioned transport wheels that are used to level the height of the frame during planting to keep the row units at determined heights of the single plant uniform depth, while also providing a support for the implement during transport of the implement. A transport wheel rotating assembly is provided to rotate the transport wheels about a pivot point such that the transport wheels will adjust the height of the implement, and also increase or decrease the length of the wheelbase between the tractor tires and the transport tires to increase the maneuverability and transportability of the implement both within a field and outside a field. The assembly includes a linkage and a cylinder connected to the implement.

AGRICULTURAL PLANTER HAVING TAPERED BEARINGS ON ROW UNIT MOUNTING BRACKET
Tapered bearings are provided for use on each end of each link arm on an agricultural seed row planter mounted on a toolbar. The bearing is a low friction material and greaseless. The tapered design of the bearings allows the bearings to be adjusted as wear occurs, by tightening the link arm mounting nut which extends through the tapered bearing. The tapered bearing has an increased life and reduced maintenance, as compared to prior art roller bearings.
