The present invention relates to a composition comprising: (a) a source of sulfite; and (b) a lipase variant of a parent lipase, wherein one or more amino acids in the parent lipase within 20 angstrom () of a cysteine bridge are replaced with a more negatively charged amino acid.

The disclosure is directed to cleaning compositions, methods of making the cleaning compositions, and methods of using the cleaning compositions. The cleaning compositions comprise an enzyme composition, a nonionic surfactant having an HLB between 10 and 22, and a quaternary amine. Preferably, the enzyme compositions included in the cleaning compositions comprise a cellulase, an AA9 polypeptide having cellulolytic enhancing activity, a hemicellulase, an esterase, an expansin, a laccase, a ligninolytic enzyme, a pectinase, a peroxidase, a protease, a swollenin, or a combination or mixture thereof. The compositions are useful for degradation of bacterial cellulose.

DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING A STABILIZED ENZYME BY PHOSPHONATES
Detergent compositions that contain an enzyme, alkaline source, and phosphonate or amine phosphonate salt are described here. A use solution of the detergent compositions containing disclosed phosphonates can retain its enzyme activity for an extended period of time. Specifically, one specific type of phosphonates and another specific type of amine phosphonate salts were discovered to stabilize enzymes in detergent compositions. Solid detergent compositions that contain disclosed phosphonate or amine phosphonate salts are more effective to remove soils and can save production and use costs.
LIQUID COMPOSITION COMPRISING PEPTIDE ALDEHYDE
A liquid composition, including component (a): at least one peptide aldehyde, and component (b): at least two organic solvents, where one organic solvent is 1,2-propane diol and at least one further organic solvent is selected from the group consisting of diols other than 1,2-propane diol in a weight ratio of 1,2-propane diol: at least one diol other than 1,2-propane diol of 25:1 to 1:4.
