Coated Granules, Use Thereof, and Washing and Cleaning Agents Containing Same
The present invention provides granules containing one or more bleaching catalysts selected from the group of manganese salts or manganese complexes and at least one binder selected from the group of acid organic compounds coated with 0.1 to 3% by weight, referring to the total amount of the granules, with a polyvinyl alcohol-containing coating, wherein the coating comprises at least 80% of polyvinyl alcohol or mixtures thereof, in relation to the total weight of the coating.
DETERGENT ADDITIVE
A detergent additive comprising an active, the active comprising one or both of tetraacetylethylenediamine or triacetylethylenediamine; and a copolymer having maleic anhydride-based repeat units and either or both of olefinic or styrenic-based repeat units; and wherein at least a portion of the maleic anhydride-based repeat units are neutralized.

A method of encapsulating an active comprising preparing a first mixture comprising the active, a compound that functions as a Michael donor, and a compound that functions as a Michael acceptor, preparing a second mixture comprising water and an emulsifier; preparing a reaction mixture by combining the first mixture, the second mixture, and a compound that functions as a Michael catalyst; agitating the reaction mixture; wherein the active has a water solubility of at most 0.5% (w/w) at 25 C.

A detergent additive comprising an active, the active comprising one or both of tetraacetylethylenediamine and triacetylethylenediamine; and polyvinyl butyral. A method of preparing a detergent additive comprising providing a solvent to a reaction mixture; providing polyvinyl butyral to the reaction mixture; providing an active to the reaction mixture, the active comprising one or both of tetraacetylethylenediamine and triacetylethylenediamine; mixing the reaction mixture; and spray-drying the reaction mixture.
GRANULES COMPRISING PROTONATED TRIAZACYCLIC COMPOUNDS AND BLEACHING AGENT AND CLEANING AGENT COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention concerns a granule comprising Mn(II) oxalate, a protonated salt of a cyclic triamine, a polysaccharide absorbent and a coating agent. In another embodiment the invention concerns a granule comprising a polysaccharide absorbent, a protonated salt of a cyclic triamine and no or very small amounts of Mn. The invention also concerns methods of preparing said granules comprising Mn(II) oxalate, polysaccharide absorbent and such salts or comprising polysaccharide absorbent, such salts and no Mn compound and bleaching formulations comprising the granules and a peroxy compound or a precursor thereof. Granules comprising Mn(II) oxalate, polysaccharide absorbent and the salt or comprising polysaccharide absorbent, the salt and no Mn compound, and formulations comprising these are suitable for use in catalysing oxidation, for example as a component of a dishwasher bleaching composition. The invention further relates to methods of oxidising with the bleaching formulations described herein.
ENHANCED PEROXYGEN STABILITY USING FATTY ACID IN BLEACH ACTIVATING AGENT CONTAINING PEROXYGEN SOLID
Solid, concentrated, multi-use, stabilized peroxygen bleach compositions are disclosed. The solid compositions employ a C6-C18 fatty acid binding system for improving shelf stability of an activated bleach composition containing a peroxygen source and a bleach activating agent. Methods of formulating and methods of use are further provided.

CATALYST COMPOSITION
Catalyst compositions are disclosed, as well as their methods of manufacture and their uses in detergent formulations, such as powdered laundry and dishwash formulations. The catalyst composition may be readily incorporated into powder and/or solid detergent formulations, wherein they exhibit remarkable stability properties and may enhance the bleaching action and thus cleaning capabilities of the detergent formulation.

The present invention relates to bleaching formulations comprising transition metal ion-containing bleaching catalysts, which formulations additionally comprise coated particles having meltable cores that comprise an inorganic solid support material and/or a catalase enzyme; and to the coated particles per se. The invention also relates to uses of the bleaching formulations and the coated particles described herein in methods of bleaching.

The present disclosure relates to an automatic dishwasher detergent which comprises metal complex of formula M.sup.n+L(A.sup.m?).sub.n/m, wherein M is a metal cation, A is an arbitrary anion, n and m are integers selected from 1 to 6, and L is a neutral ligand of formula (II), wherein each X is as defined herein, and which exhibits improved cleaning performance in the removal of burnt-on soiling, to the use of this dishwasher detergent, and to a method for automatically washing dishes using this dishwasher detergent.
