Azeotrope-like composition of 2-chlor0-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HCFC-1233xf) and hydrogen fluoride (HF)
Provided are azeotropic and azeotrope-like compositions of 2-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HCFO-1233xf) and hydrogen fluoride (HF). Such azeotropic and azeotrope-like compositions are useful as intermediates in the production of 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234yf).
AZEOTROPIC AND AZEOTROPE-LIKE COMPOSITIONS OF Z-1233zd
This application provides azeotropic and near-azeotropic compositions of Z-1233zd and a second component selected from the group consisting of methyl formate, dimethoxymethane, HFC-43-10-mee and HFC-245fa. The inventive compositions are useful as aerosol propellants, refrigerants, cleaning agents, expansion agents for thermoplastic and thermoset foams, solvents, heat transfer media, gaseous dielectrics, fire extinguishing and suppression agents, power cycle working fluids, polymerization media, particulate removal fluids, carrier fluids, buffing abrasive agents, and displacement drying agents. The compositions were modeled based on Vapor-Liquid Equilibria data such as those illustrated in the figures.
FLUORINE-BASED SOLVENT COMPOSITION
Disclosed are azeotropic or azeotrope-like compositions containing a hydrofluoroether and a chlorotrifluoropropene. The hydrofluoroether is at least one of methyl nonafluorobutyl ether, ethyl nonafluorobutyl ether, 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethyl ether including isomers thereof. The compositions are azeotropic or azeotrope-like and are useful in cleaning applications.
COMPOSITIONS OF CHLORO-TRIFLUOROPROPENE AND HEXAFLUOROBUTENE
Provided are compositions, preferably azeotrope or azeotrope-like compositions including 1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene and chlorotrifluoropropene, particularly 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HCFO-1233zd), and uses thereof of the compositions. The composition may be a heat transfer composition. The composition may be a blowing agent composition. The composition may be a solvent composition. The composition may be a sprayable composition.
MONOCHLOROTRIFLUOROPROPENE COMPOUNDS AND COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS USING SAME
Various uses of monochlorotrifluoropropenes, in combination with one or more other components, including other fluoroalkenes, hydrocarbons; hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), ethers, alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, methyl formate, formic acid, water, trans-1,2-dichloroethylene, carbon dioxide and combinations of any two or more of these, in a variety of applications, including as blowing agents, are disclosed.
