An all-natural, moisturizing soap composition that allows for high vegetable butter fat content while also being capable of processing for high quality bar soap (moisturizing properties without sticky pellets, brittleness, cracking, and/or inhibition of lather formation) and a method for making the same and other soaps is provided. The soap composition may contain up to 50% vegetable butter fat(s). The semi-continuous process for saponification provides a fast and energy efficient alternative to prior art methods, while also allowing for high quality bar soap that contains a high content (up to 50%) of vegetable butter fat(s).

Soap compositions including a polymer matrix comprising a first polymer, a polysaccharide that is substantially homogenously distributed within the polymer matrix, and a fatty acid are disclosed.

Organic detergent powder compositions and single-dose compressed tablets thereof are disclosed. The organic detergent powder composition can comprise one or more of the following ingredients: saponified oils, lyes, binders, fillers, carriers, disintegrants, inert ingredients, salts or water softeners, detergency aids, defoamers or flow agents, enzymes, chelating agents, and fragrances in amounts complying with the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA's) National Organic Program (NOP) for products labeled as organic or made with organic. In some aspects, the organic detergent powder composition comprises organic soapberry powder and one or more of a salt, one or more detergency aids, one or more enzymes, and one or more fragrances.

A solid cosmetic composition includes (i) sugar; (ii) a vegetable fiber, a fruit fiber or mixture thereof; and (iii) a soap. The solid cosmetic composition is prepared by dehydrating a liquid composition including (i) sugar in an amount of 33.75 to 47 wt. %; (ii) a vegetable fiber, a fruit fiber or mixture thereof, in an amount of 3.75 to 4.75 wt. %; (iii) a soap in an amount of 20 to 75 wt. %; and (iv) water in an amount of 11 to 15 wt. %. The amounts are based on the total combined amount of the sugar, the fiber, the soap and the water.

A series of natural soaps, both liquid and solid, and methods of making thereof, which have a synergistic effect when formulated with anti-redeposition ingredients in laundry applications both in synthetic and natural textiles and fabrics. The fatty acids and/or natural oils based series of natural soaps include both sodium and potassium soap products that interact synergistically with, preferably, known, natural anti-redeposition agents and alkaline builders creating highly effective, natural solid (bar or powdered) and liquid laundry cleaning products. Solid forms soaps are dried to an acceptable amount of moisture content for milling. Further blending is then performed with various natural anti-redeposition agents or natural products which exhibit said characteristics and/or alkaline builders. The solid forms may be formed into single dose tablets. Effervescent additives may further be included.

The present invention is a solid fabric care composition comprising a water-soluble carrier, a water-soluble polymer, a fabric care compound, a polysaccharide and a fragrance, wherein the water-soluble carrier is in particle form, having a coating comprising the water-soluble polymer and the fragrance, and a mixture of the fabric care compound and the polysaccharide being incorporated at least partly into the coating, or the coating of the water-soluble carrier being coated at least partly with a mixture of the fabric care compound and the polysaccharide. Also described herein are fabric care washing or cleaning products comprising the fabric care compositions.

The use of (i) water, (ii) sugar, sorbitol or a mixture thereof and (iii) humectant is used for improving heat transfer to a soap.
