VACCINE COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING OR TREATING INFECTION OF SARS-COV-2

Provided is a recombinant protein for preventing or treating infection of SARS-Coronavirus-2 antigen comprising an extended receptor binding domain (RBD) of a spike protein of SARS-Coronavirus-2, and a vaccine composition comprising thereof. Also the present invention relates to a method for preventing infection of SARS-Coronavirus-2 by administering the recombinant antigen protein to a subject. The present invention can prevent COVID-19 infection. The present invention can be used as a vaccine.

CLOSED-ENDED DNA (CEDNA) AND USE IN METHODS OF REDUCING GENE OR NUCLEIC ACID THERAPY RELATED IMMUNE RESPONSE

Provided herein are methods and constructs related to minimizing immune responses using inhibitors of the immune response, in particular the innate immune response, when administering a desired transgene in a cell achieved by delivery of the transgene with repeated doses of a ceDNA vector.

RECOMBINANT ADENO-ASSOCIATED VIRUS COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING SAME

Disclosed herein are compositions comprising recombinant adeno-associated virus (rAAV), as well as recombinant baculovirus systems and methods of using the same for producing and purifying such compositions. Also disclosed herein are assays for testing the titer and potency of such compositions.

CLOSED-ENDED LINEAR DUPLEX DNA FOR NON-VIRAL GENE TRANSFER

Aspects of the disclosure relate to a nucleic acid comprising a heterologous nucleic acid insert flanked by interrupted self-complementary sequences, wherein one self-complementary sequence is interrupted by a cross-arm sequence forming two opposing, lengthwise-symmetric stem-loops, and wherein the other of the self-complementary sequences is interrupted by a truncated cross-arm sequence. Methods of delivering the nucleic acid to a cell are also provided.

An immunogenic composition, a SARS-CoV-2 vaccine and a vector are introduced. The immunogenic composition has a recombinant protein having a sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2, SEQ ID NO: 3, SEQ ID NO: 4, and any polypeptide encoded by a polynucleotide which is at least 80% homologous with SEQ ID NO: 1-4, wherein the recombinant protein contains an IgG1 Fc protein fragment having a length of at least 6 amino acids; or a nucleic acid molecule encoding the recombinant protein. The SARS-CoV-2 vaccine has the above recombinant protein or the nucleic acid molecule encoding the above recombinant protein. The vector has the nucleic acid molecule encoding the above recombinant protein.

The invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine. The invention provides an immunogenic composition, comprising a hemagglutinin protein of avian influenza virus H5 subtype. Also provided is a method of differentiating animals naturally infected with AIV from animals vaccinated with the immunogenic composition of the invention. The immunogenic composition of the invention can provide a broader, more effective, long-lasting and early onset protection on poultry.

Recombinant transition vector for increasing foreign protein expression

Disclosed are a novel recombinant transition vector for increasing expression of a foreign protein in a native form without fusion partners, and a method for mass production of a foreign target protein using the same. The recombinant transition vector according to the present disclosure may allow a large amount of a foreign target protein with a high therapeutic and prophylactic value to be expressed in an insect cell. In particular, the vector may increase the expression of the foreign target protein in an own form thereof, not fused with other fusion partners. Therefore, the use of the recombinant transition vector may produce useful proteins such as antigens in insect cells at low cost and high efficiency.
