In some such examples, the electrode includes a ring disposed in the opening and an arm, where the arm has a first portion extending outward from the opening away from the housing and a second portion extending from an end of the first portion toward the housing and into the cavity, and the first and second portions connect at a bend.
A NON-INVASIVE CONTINUOUS BLOOD GLUCOSE MONITOR
Provided herein is a non-invasive device for measuring glucose levels (i.e., concentration) in a subject, preferably a human subject. The present invention relates to a wearable device, a kit and a method thereof for measuring blood glucose concentrations/levels. The non-invasive devices of the present invention can be used as wearable devices such as a smart band, ring, bracelet, watch and the like to monitor the blood glucose levels in diabetics without discomfort and stress due to finger pricks by measuring bio-impedance data.
SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND METHODS FOR PROTECTING ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS FROM HIGH POWER NOISE INDUCED BY HIGH VOLTAGE PULSES
Systems, devices, and methods for electroporation ablation therapy are disclosed, with a protection device for isolating electronic circuitry, devices, and/or other components from a set of electrodes during a cardiac ablation procedure. A system can include a first set of electrodes disposable near cardiac tissue of a heart and a second set of electrodes disposable in contact with patient anatomy. The system can further include a signal generator configured to generate a pulse waveform, where the signal generator coupled to the first set of electrodes and configured to repeatedly deliver the pulse waveform to the first set of electrodes. The system can further include a protection device configured to selectively couple and decouple an electronic device to the second set of electrodes.
MRI-GUIDED STEREOTACTIC SURGERY METHOD
A MRI-guided stereotactic surgery method including the following steps: assigning coordinates of a surgery target point of a surgery cannula and an insertion direction of the surgery cannula; performing coordinate transformation to transform the coordinates of the surgery target point into an insertion position of the surgery target point; substituting the insertion position and the insertion direction into an inverse kinematics model to obtain five parameters respectively corresponding to five degrees of freedom of a MRI-compatible stereotactic surgery device; controlling the MRI-compatible stereotactic surgery device according to the parameters to start a stereotactic surgery procedure, thereby inserting the surgery cannula; obtaining an actual cannula position according to a magnetic resonance (MR) image; comparing the actual cannula position with the surgery target point to obtain a position error vector; and withdrawing the surgery cannula to finish the stereotactic surgery procedure when the position error vector is acceptable.
UPPER COIL ASSEMBLY OF AN RF PROBE FOR USE IN AN MRI SYSTEM
An upper coil assembly for use with a lower RF coil assembly mounted to provide an RF probe arranged to be engaged with a head of a patient in MRI includes a plurality of coil loops arranged in a row defining a phase shift coil array with each coil loop including an independent output conductor for communicating signals to a respective preamplifier for independent amplification and each coil loop including a plurality of capacitors at spaced positions therearound. To decouple the loops each coil loop partly overlaps a next coil loop with a first decoupling capacitor shared on a common portion of each coil loop and each next coil loop. The first and third coil loops are also decoupled by using third decoupling capacitor in a connecting conductor between the first and third coil loops.
Medical data acquisition
A system for medical data acquisition comprising a plurality of scanners and a plurality of infrastructure units to operate the scanners, wherein the system is designed to use at least one of the infrastructure units as a common infrastructure unit to operate at least two of the scanners. Also, a method to control this system.

A system includes a sensor applicator, a sensor control device arranged within the sensor applicator and including an electronics housing and a sensor extending from a bottom of the electronics housing, and a cap coupled to one of the sensor applicator and the sensor control device, wherein the cap is removable prior to deploying the sensor control device from the sensor applicator.
MICRONEEDLE ARRAY SENSOR PATCH FOR CONTINUOUS MULTI-ANALYTE DETECTION
Disclosed are systems, devices and methods for continuous and simultaneous monitoring of multiple analytes within interstitial fluid by an integrated system for a microneedle array sensor platform. In some aspects, the device includes a microneedle array sensor unit, an electronics unit and a housing structure. The electronics unit is in electrical communication with an array of electrode probe structures via an array of surface-mount, spring loaded pins, and the electronics unit includes a power source, a data processing unit, and a wireless transmitter. The housing structure is configured to encase, at least partially, the microneedle array sensor unit and the electronics unit, where the array of microneedles is exposed from a side of the housing structure. The device can be configured as a patch worn on skin of a patient user.
