FITNESS MONITORING AND TRACKING DEVICE
20230240546 · 2023-08-03 ·

A mouthpiece for a fitness tracking and/or monitoring system, the mouthpiece comprising a retainer member shaped and configured to be worn, in use, within a user's mouth, the retainer member being formed of at least two layers of elastomeric material having a physiological sensor therebetween.

LOW-NOISE SENSOR SYSTEM
20230240617 · 2023-08-03 ·

A sensor system has a low-noise sensor controller providing communications between an active-temperature-regulated optical sensor and an external monitor. A low-noise sensor controller drives optical emitters, receives resulting detected signals after attenuation by a blood perfused tissue site and communicates the detector signals to the attached signal processor. An optically-isolated controller front-end receives and digitizes the detected signals. A controller serializer transmits the digitized detector signal to the processor via a single, shielded coaxial cable.

Optical Sensor in a Button of an Electronic Device

A computing device includes a housing defining an aperture extending therethrough. The computing device further includes a button that includes a switch and a body. The body is at least partially disposed within the aperture and movable relative to the housing between a first position and a second position to selectively actuate the switch to cause the computing device to perform a function. The button includes a printed circuit electrically coupled to one or more processors of the computing device. The button includes an optical sensor disposed within the interior of the body and configured to obtain biometric data for determining one or more biometrics of a user.

Health monitoring systems and methods

Systems, methods and devices for reducing noise in health monitoring including monitoring systems, methods and/or devices receiving a health signal and/or having at least one electrode and/or sensor for health monitoring.

EARPIECE AND A METHOD FOR DETECTING PHYSIOLOGICAL INFORMATION
20210361236 · 2021-11-25 ·

An earpiece comprising a sensor for detecting light in the ear canal. The sensor is held in a cradle to reduce field-of-view. The reduced field-of-view reduce the possibility of light reaching the sensor in a tangential angle. Therefore, the chance of ambient light and light from an emitter reaching the sensor directly is reduced. This improves the likelihood that the readings of the sensor has a greater portion from light that has travelled through the tissue of the ear canal than not.

Measuring Apparatus and Device for Measuring Changes in Chromophore Concentration
20210345909 · 2021-11-11 ·

A measuring apparatus (100) is provided for fitting to an animal body for measuring changes in concentration of a chromophore in the animal body. The measuring apparatus (100) has a plurality of devices (120). Each device (120) has a light source (122) for emitting light towards an animal body and a light detector (124) for detecting light returning from the said animal body. A device controller (126) receives signals from and sends signals to a main controller (160). The device controllers (126) of the plural devices (120) are respectively connected to a connection arrangement (150).

System and method for the rapid measurement of the visual contrast sensitivity function

A computer, a high resolution monitor and a patient interface is utilized to implement a visual contrast sensitivity function measurement test. More specifically, a computerized video system is configured to implement a tilted-grating forced choice contrast sensitivity function test. The invention utilizes known measurement methods for the visual contrast sensitivity function and automates their use by computerizing the system and couples it with a patient-interactive user interface in order to produce an accurate quantitative result.

SKIN ANALYSIS DEVICE

A device for photographing a human face comprising: a) a light-excluding housing configured to receive a human face at an aperture in said housing; and b) a stand on which the light-excluding housing is mounted at one or more (preferably two rotatable pivot points, such that rotation about said pivot points results in movement of the aperture upwards and/or downwards.

Non-invasive physiological sensor cover

A sensor cover according to embodiments of the disclosure is capable of being used with a non-invasive physiological sensor, such as a pulse oximetry sensor. Certain embodiments of the sensor cover reduce or eliminate false readings from the sensor when the sensor is not in use, for example, by blocking a light detecting component of a pulse oximeter sensor when the pulse oximeter sensor is active but not in use. Further, embodiments of the sensor cover can prevent damage to the sensor. Additionally, embodiments of the sensor cover prevent contamination of the sensor.

IMAGING DEVICE COVER, IMAGING DEVICE, AND IMAGING METHOD
20230314915 · 2023-10-05 · ·

An imaging device cover includes a cover member including at least a partial region that transmits incident light, and a first adhesive layer provided on a cover peripheral portion that is a peripheral portion of the cover member. While covering an object cover that guides reflected light from a target to a lens of an imaging device, the cover member is peelably attached to the imaging device including the object cover via the first adhesive layer.
