CATIONIC OIL-IN-WATER EMULSIONS
This invention generally relates to cationic oil-in-water emulsions that contain high concentrations of cationic lipids and have a defined oil:lipid ratio. The cationic lipid can interact with the negatively charged molecule thereby anchoring the molecule to the emulsion particles. The cationic emulsions described herein are useful for delivering negatively charged molecules, such as nucleic acid molecules to cells, and for formulating nucleic acid-based vaccines.
Gene-deleted variant strain of porcine pseudorabies virus, vaccine composition, method of making the same and use thereof
The present invention provides an attenuated strain of porcine pseudorabies virus (PRV), in which said attenuated strain of PRV is a variant strain of PRV with inactivation of gI/gE/11K/28K proteins. In addition, the present invention also provides a vaccine composition comprising the attenuated strain of PRV as an antigen, a preparation method and use thereof. Proved by immunogenicity and pathogenicity testing of the live vaccine, said live PRV vaccine can provide a good protection for pigs with no clinical signs observed, indicating excellent immune protection.

VACCINE COMPOSITIONS OF HERPESVIRUS ENVELOPE PROTEIN COMBINATIONS TO INDUCE IMMUNE RESPONSE
Provided are antigenic compositions and uses thereof that include at least two human herpesvirus (HHV) polypeptides involved in mediating HHV binding, fusion, and entry into host cells, such as gp350, gH, gL, and gB, or nucleic acids encoding the polypeptides. The two HHV polypeptides comprise any combination of: a gB polypeptide; a gp350 polypeptide; a gL polypeptide; and a gH polypeptide, and optionally any one or more of the following polypeptides: gp42, gM, gN, gl, gC, gE, gD, ORF68, BMRF-2, BDLF2, UL128, UL130, UL131A, and gpK8.1. Also disclosed are methods of inducing an immune response or treating or preventing O an HHV infection in a subject by administering to the subject at least two of the HHV polypeptides or nucleic acid(s) encoding the same. Methods of passively transferring immunity using high-titer anti-HHV antibodies or immune cells are also disclosed.
BOVINE HERPESVIRUS TYPE 1 (BOHV-1) VECTOR AGAINST BOVINE RESPIRATORY DISEASE COMPLEX
The application describes recombinant BoHV-1 triple mutant viruses that express protective antigens of other bovine respiratory viruses associated with Bovine respiratory disease complex (BRDC).
Vaccine compositions comprising a saponin adjuvant
The present invention provides a human dose of an immunogenic composition comprising an antigen or antigenic preparation, in combination with an adjuvant which adjuvant comprises an immunologically active saponin fraction derived from the bark of Quillaja saponaria Molina presented in the form of a liposome and a lipopolysaccharide wherein said saponin fraction and said lipopolysaccharide are both present in said human dose at a level of below 30 ?g. The present invention further provides an adjuvant composition in a human dose suitable volume comprising between 1 and 30 ?g of a lipopolysaccharide and between 1 and 30 ?g of an immunologically active saponin fraction presented in the form of a liposome.
Immunostimulatory Plasmids
The present invention relates to immunomodulator compositions and methods of use as well as methods of making. The immunomodulator compositions comprise immunostimulatory plasmids, or DNA sequence, capable of eliciting an immune response in a recipient subject. Further, the immunostimulatory plasmids, or DNA sequence, do not contain antibiotic resistance coding sequence to help reduce the potential of horizontal transfer of antibiotic resistance in a population.
LIPOSOMAL ADJUVANT COMPOSITIONS
The invention provides a liposomal adjuvant composition comprising an external membrane and an internal compartment, the external membrane comprising: a quaternary ammonium compound; a sterol; a phospholipid; and a glycolipid. Vaccine compositions comprising the liposomal adjuvant of the instant invention are also provided.
