MEDICAL SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
An inventive medical system has a housing with a first guiding surface. A preassembled module is received in the housing. The module includes electronics electrically connected to an analytical sensor, an insertion component configured for inserting the analytical sensor into body tissue of a user and a sterility cap at least partially surrounding the insertion component. The module has a second guiding surface. A protective cap is removably connected to the housing and covers the preassembled module. The protective cap is removable from the housing by pulling the protective cap from the housing. The first guiding surface guides the protective cap during the pulling of the protective cap from the housing and the second guiding surface guides the sterility cap during pulling the sterility cap from the insertion component. The length of the first guiding surface exceeds the length of the second guiding surface.
HIGH DENSITY NEURAL IMPLANTS FOR BRAIN-MACHINE INTERFACES
A system includes an implanted autonomous microchiplet communicatively linked to an epidermal skinpatch having a transceiver and a demodulator, an intermediate device communicatively linked to the epidermal skinpatch, the intermediate device configured to receive neural signals for decoding from the epidermal skinpatch and to send encoded signals for patterned stimulation to the epidermal skinpatch, and one or more external devices communicatively linked to intermediate device.
COVER
A cover for use with a measuring device body that includes a sensor portion having a distal end with a sensor having a measurement surface and a proximal end opposite the distal end, and a grip connected to the proximal end of the sensor portion. The cover includes a cover member configured to cover the measurement surface of the sensor, and a support member at least on a side of the sensor portion opposite to the measurement surface, and the support member is connected to the cover member.
MEASURING DEVICE WITH WRINKLE SUPPRESSION
A measuring device is provided that suppresses wrinkle generation. The measuring device includes a body and a cover to be attached to the body. The body includes a grip and also includes a sensor portion. A fixation portion is formed at an upper surface of the grip. The sensor portion includes a measuring portion disposed at a distal end thereof and a connection portion that connects between the measuring portion and the grip. A sensor is disposed in the measuring portion. In the measuring device, an angle between (1) a reference plane comprising the measurement surface and (2) a tangent line drawn between the fixation portion and the body as viewed in a direction that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and that is parallel to the reference plane, is 50 degrees or less.
COVER FOR ORAL DEVICE
A cover for covering an oral device that includes a first sheet member made of a first resin, and a second sheet member made of a second resin and facing the first sheet member, wherein when a first direction is a direction along a surface of the first sheet member and a second direction is a direction along the surface of the first sheet member and orthogonal to the first direction, the first sheet member and the second sheet member are joined to each other in a bag shape so as to define an opening at a first side in the first direction. A protruding portion protrudes from the second sheet member and past an outer edge of the first sheet member at the opening in the first direction.
Functional disposable sheath
An active sheath for a recognition probe of a handheld cancer screening device, in which the conductors and circuits are applied on the surface of the sheath such as in the form of a flexible circuit made of a biocompatible material and a flexible conductor or a conductive ink in the surface of the disposable cover's tip without the need to embed the electrodes or other components inside the plastic cover.
System and method for sterile sheathing of a medical probe
An apparatus and a method for sheathing a medical device, tool, instrument or probe (generally, probe) is provided. Among other aspects, a probe support jig capable of supporting the probe is provided, which includes a mechanical coupling for accepting a sheath on a sheath shell. In use, the sheath shell is coupled at one end thereof to the support jig and the probe is fed into the sheath, which is coupled to the sheath shell at another end thereof.
TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT
An apparatus is provided for receiving an indication of a temperature measurement made at a site on a body, the first measurement being of a first type; receiving an indication of an electrical measurement of one or more electrical characteristics made at the site where the temperature measurement was made; determining, based at least in part on the measurement of the one or more electrical characteristics, the site on the body where the temperature measurement was made; associating the measured temperature with the determined site. A method and a computer program product are also provided.

Oximetry Probe with Tissue Depth Analysis
An oximeter probe includes a probe unit or a base unit and a probe tip where the probe tip has a number of sources and detectors that can be accessed individually or in differing combinations for measuring tissue oxygen saturation at different tissue depth in tissue. A processor of the oximeter probe controls a multiplexer that is coupled to the detectors for selectively collecting measurement information from the detectors via the multiplexer. The oximeter probe is user programmable via one or more input devices on the oximeter probe for selecting the particular sources and detectors to collect measurement information from by the processor.
