Abnormality determination device and abnormality determination method for dental handpiece
An abnormality determination device for a dental handpiece, the abnormality determination device including: an electrical current output unit configured to supply, to a drive motor attached to the dental handpiece, a test electrical current in a no-load state, the test electrical current being smaller than a no-load electrical current at a rotational speed of the dental handpiece during a normal treatment in the no-load state; a rotational speed detector configured to detect a rotational speed of the drive motor in a state where the test electrical current is supplied; a processor configured to compare the rotational speed detected by the rotational speed detector with a threshold rotational speed; and an abnormality detector configured to determine abnormality that the dental handpiece is abnormal if the rotational speed detected by the rotational speed detector is smaller than the threshold rotational speed.
Automated Dental Drill
An automated dental drill includes a dental drill housing that includes a mouthpiece housing section and a one or more degrees of freedom drive housing section; an end effector drive support having a shaft section that is at least partially positioned in the mouthpiece housing section, and an end effector for the cutting of a native tooth or dental appliance to a desired tolerance. The end effector is positioned on the end effector drive support. The automated dental drill also includes a power source that drives the end effector and is coupled to the end effector and a one or more degrees of freedom drive assembly to direct the end effector along one or more degrees of freedom relative to the mouthpiece housing section.

SEGMENTAL OSCILLATION TOOL AND LUBRICANT
A tool for interproximal reduction includes a handpiece and a substantially solid disk-shaped member. The hand tool has a motor coupled to a coupling member. The handpiece is for creating oscillating motion in an oscillation range of 90 degrees or less. The disk-shaped member has a front face and a rear face and defines two or more segments that are different from one another. Each segment has different properties comprising one or more of perforations, cutting surfaces, and abrasives. The disk-shaped member has a centrally disposed aperture for coupling to the handpiece with the coupling member. The properties only partially cover one or more of the front or rear face of the disk. The handpiece is configured to permit a user to position their fingers directly adjacent the dish-shaped member during operation of the handpiece.

ENDODONTIC INSTRUMENTS
Endodontic instruments are used to clean and enlarge the endodontic cavity space (ECS), also known as the root canal system, of a human tooth. This document describes novel endodontic instruments that are radially compressible, and methods for their use.

Endodontic handpiece systems and methods
An endodontic handpiece comprises a handle assembly and an endodontic tool. The handle assembly comprises a handle housing, a chuck assembly, a bearing system for supporting the chuck assembly for rotation relative to the handle housing, a first drive system for rotating the chuck assembly, and first and second drive systems. The endodontic tool defines a support portion and a working portion. The chuck assembly transfers movement of the chuck assembly to the endodontic tool. The endodontic handpiece operates in at least one of first, second, and third modes in which the first drive system causes rotation of the endodontic tool through the chuck assembly, the second drive system causes vibration of the endodontic tool, and/or the first drive system causes rotation of the endodontic tool through the chuck assembly.
ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
The present disclosure provides an electric toothbrush, comprising: a support frame, wherein the support frame is provided with a hollow part; a drive frame, wherein the drive frame is elastically connected to the support frame, the drive frame is located in the hollow part, the drive frame and the support frame are spaced apart, and the drive frame is provided with a drive shaft connector for connecting a toothbrush head; and a motor, wherein the motor is provided on the drive frame, the motor is able to drive the drive frame to swing or vibrate relative to the support frame when running, so that the drive shaft connector can drive the toothbrush head to swing or vibrate.
