Transducer activated tool with water conduit
A device includes a connecting end and a working end. Device has an internal fluid passageway and a bend area. The fluid passageway has a discharge opening or hole, which opening is positioned or located substantially away from the bend area, such that the discharge opening and upstream portions of the passageway will remain unaffected, substantially unaffected, or selectively affected by any deformation thereof due to the bending procedures employed to make the other portions of the tool, such as those conventionally involved in fabricating the bend area.
Ablation method and device
A method relating to inserting an ultrasonic oscillatory dental tip into a gingival sulcus of a patient proximate to a subgingival tooth surface, and ultrasonically oscillating the dental tip while supplying a fluid to a porous surface of the dental tip to space the dental tip surface from the subgingival tooth surface to inhibit contact therebetween while debriding biofilm from the tooth surface. A dental tool relating to a tip body having first and second ends, the first end coupleable to a dental delivery device; an internal fluid flow passage through the tip body disposed between the first end and the second end; the second end having a dental tip surface in fluid communication with the internal fluid flow passage.
Probe unit, treatment instrument, and treatment system
A probe unit includes, a probe configured to treat a bone by ultrasonic vibration, a hollow sheath which surrounds the probe and which has a first portion at a small distance from a central axis, and a second portion at a greater distance from the central axis than the first portion, and a knob configured to rotate the sheath relative to the probe between a first position for insertion between the bone and a living tissue facing the bone so that the first portion is located between the bone and the living tissue and a second position for insertion between the bone and the living tissue so that the second portion is located between the bone and the living tissue.

ENDODONTIC HANDPIECE WITH ROTATIONAL AND VERTICAL MOTION
An endodontic handpiece including a handpiece body defining a neck portion extending to a head portion which defines a chamber with an opening therefrom. A chalk is positioned in the chamber and includes a cylindrical body having a longitudinal axis, a retainer for holding an endodontic tool co-axially with the cylindrical body, and a pin receiving bore defined in the cylindrical body transverse to the longitudinal axis. A shaft is rotatably supported within the neck portion and having a pin extending from an end thereof and received in the pin receiving bore of the chalk. The pin is offset from a central axis of the shaft such that rotation of the shaft causes the chalk to move downwardly, rotate in a clockwise direction, move upwardly and rotate in a counter-clockwise direction over each 360° rotation of the shaft.
VIBRATOR FOR ATTACHING COMPOSITE RESIN TO A TOOTH
Provided is a vibrator for attaching composite resin to a tooth, the vibrator including a housing; a vibration motor accommodated in the housing and configured to generate vibration; a micro-computer configured to control an operation and a vibration frequency of the vibration motor; and a vibration tip configured to couple with one side of the housing to be exposed to an outside of the housing, and to transfer the vibration to the composite resin.

DENTAL TOOL AND DENTAL SYSTEM
The invention relates to a dental tool having a shank region, which is formed for coupling to a dental handpiece, and also having a work region, which is connected to the shank region. In this case, the shank region of the dental tool is formed so that there is the possibility of latchable insertion and removal without actuation. In particular, at least the shank region can consist of plastics material. As a result, inter alia facilitated handling of the tool and inexpensive production of the tool are rendered possible.

INTRAORAL SCANNING USING A PRE-EXISTING MODEL
An intraoral scanner system includes an intraoral scanner having an imaging device and a sensing face, and a computing device, communicatively coupled to the intraoral scanner. The computing device receives a first intraoral images of a three-dimensional intraoral object of a patient generated by the intraoral scanner corresponding to an intraoral scanning of the three-dimensional intraoral object of the patient. The computing device registers a first intraoral image of the first intraoral images relative to a second intraoral image of the first intraoral images using a model of the three-dimensional intraoral object that existed prior to the intraoral scanning.
