User Wearable Fluorescence Enabled Visualization System
A user-wearable fluorescence based visualization system comprising a multi-light lamp assembly that provides for the selected output of light using multiple light emitting sources, wherein the outputted light may be tailored to generate response wavelength by the interaction of the emitted light and a tissue illuminated by the emitted light, through the process of fluorescence, and a viewing system that allows a practitioner view the fluorescent light generated by the tissue, and distinguish between healthy and diseased tissues.
BUTTON ASSEMBLY FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE, SUCH AS ORAL IRRIGATOR
In one embodiment, an oral irrigator includes a reservoir, a base configured to support the reservoir, and a button assembly coupled to the base. The button assembly may include a button, a spring coupled to the button, and a seal coupled to the spring. The button may be movable between an original position and an actuation position. The spring may be configured to deform in response to a user input force moving the button from the original position to the actuation position, and to resiliently return the button to the original position in response to cessation of the user input force on the button. The seal may inhibit fluid from entering through the spring into the base.
Smart Flexible Lighting System for Operating Rooms
A smart flexible operating room lighting system with a control system utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) modules may be coupled to a wall, ceiling, or fixture of and mobile in a facility. The lighting system can modularly accommodate multiple illumination arms and incorporate microphones thereon, permitting the vocal control using the control system for hands free operations. The control system controls the movements of the illumination arms to desired positions and orientations via motor-driven actuators and position sensors thereon. The lighting system may include a speaker and a camera to facilitate two-way communications with a user via the control system to facilitate demonstrations for individuals undergoing tutelage in the facility. Further, a cover with a transparent front end may be provided to be slipped over the lighting system and securing through a cover fastener. Thus, the present invention provides reliable sanitary measures while facilitating efficient operations via the smart flexible illumination arms.
DENTAL HANDPIECE
Provided is a dental handpiece which can prevent degradation in visibility of a surgical field. The anti-reflection layer 100 is formed on the top surface and the side surface of the head portion 241 of the lid member 24 close to the root canal of the tooth, to which the operator pays attention, and further on the outer surface of the second cylindrical member 12 (refer to FIG. 3). Therefore, the reflection of light of a dental lighting tool provided with the anti-reflection layer 100 is suppressed, and degradation in visibility of a surgical field can be avoided. In addition, visibility of stains such as proteins adhering to the lid member 24 and the second cylindrical member 12 is improved, and cleaning thereof is facilitated.
Apparatus for measuring surface topography of a patient's teeth
An apparatus includes a probe and a light source configured to output light. The apparatus includes a light focusing assembly comprising an image space lens, an object space lens and a focus changing assembly between the image space lens and the object space lens. The focus changing assembly is configured to focus the light to a plurality of external focal planes to illuminate a patient's teeth, wherein at least a portion of the focus changing assembly is located at a back focal length of the object space lens. The apparatus includes a detector to measure characteristics of incident light returning from an illuminated patient's teeth and a processor coupled to the detector and configured to generate data representative of a topography of the patient's teeth based on the one or more measured characteristics of the incident light.
Methods for whitening teeth
In a tooth whitening method, a whitening composition is applied to at least one tooth. The whitening composition is maintained on the at least one tooth for a first time period. After the first time period, a light radiation is directed toward the at least one tooth for a second time period. The first time period has a duration greater than 50% of a total duration of the first and second time periods.
Light curing dental system
A light curing dental system comprising a light emitting tray that precisely distributes an optimal amount of curing light energy to internal, external and extra oral portions of the dental arch to cure a dental material. The light curing dental system generally includes a light source, a light emitting dental tray, an activation module and a photocurable dental material.
Portable oral irrigator
A portable oral irrigator includes a charging seat assembly, a water container assembly, a housing assembly and a pump assembly. The charging seat assembly includes a charging seat base, a transparent charging seat member on the charging seat base, a first control board in the charging seat base, a first light guide line in the transparent charging seat member, a second light guide line in the charging seat base, a charging seat cover on the transparent charging seat member, and a charging socket projecting out of the charging seat cover. With provision of the charging seat assembly, the water container assembly, the housing assembly and the pump assembly, the pump unit draws water from the water container body and exits the water through the nozzle. The first and second light guide lines and the light guide strip emit light to indicate a current state of the oral irrigator.
DENTAL INSTRUMENT ASSEMBLIES AND COMPONENTS FOR USE WITHIN DENTAL INSTRUMENT ASSEMBLIES
Dental instrument assemblies (e.g., mouth pieces, bite blocks, vacuum dental mirrors, illuminated dental mirrors, illuminated dental wedges, trans-illumination dental instrument, illuminated dental bite blocks, etc.) are provided. The dental instrument assemblies may be adapted to be periodically sterilized. The dental instrument assemblies may include a magnetically energetic fiber optic coupler. The magnetically energetic fiber optic coupler may be configured to allow dental instrument adapter to rotate with respect to an associated fiber optic cable that is removably connected to the magnetically energetic fiber optic coupler. The dental instrument assemblies may include a fiber optic material that is encapsulated.
Oral Treatment Device, System and Method
An oral treatment device that emits electromagnetic radiation onto surfaces of a user's teeth. The oral treatment device may include an intraoral mouthpiece and a handle extending therefrom, the handle containing the control circuitry required for operation of the device. The mouthpiece may include a lamp support structure, a lamp, a lens plate, and a guard component.
