Sequential administration of a replication defective adenovirus vector in vaccination protocols
Methods for generating immune responses using adenovirus vectors that allow multiple vaccinations with the same adenovirus vector and vaccinations in individuals with preexisting immunity to adenovirus are provided.
MULTI-SPECIFIC T CELL RECEPTORS
The present invention provides CD8+ T cells comprising multi-specific T cell receptors and methods for making the same.
HIV PRE-IMMUNIZATION AND IMMUNOTHERAPY
The present invention relates generally to immunization and immunotherapy for the treatment or prevention of HIV. In particular, the methods include in vivo and/or ex vivo enrichment of HIV-specific CD4+ T cells.
Cytomegalovirus vectors eliciting T cells restricted by major histocompatibility complex E molecules
CMV vectors that lack active UL128, UL130, UL146 and UL147 proteins that may also comprise one or more microRNA regulatory elements (MRE) that restrict expression of the CMV are provided. Immunization with CMV vectors having the described features allows selection of different CD8+ T cell responses—CD8+ T cells restricted by MHC-Ia, MHC-II, or by MHC-E.
ADENOVIRUSES AND METHODS FOR USING ADENOVIRUSES
This invention relates to methods and materials for nucleic acid delivery, vaccination, and/or treating cancer. More specifically, methods and materials for nucleic acid delivery, vaccination, and/or treating cancer using one or more recombinant adenoviruses (Ads) as an oncolytic agent are provided.
IL-10-CONTAINING VACCINES AND USES THEREOF
Provided herein are systems, compositions, and methods for expressing an antigen and a protein having interleukin-10-like activity in a cell. The systems, compositions, and methods described herein can be used to induce an immune response against an antigen and are useful, for example, in the prevention and treatment of a number of infectious diseases and cancers.
SIV AND HIV VACCINATION USING RHCMV- AND HCMV-BASED VACCINE VECTORS
Particular aspects provide for use of the β-herpesvirus Cytomegalovirus (CMV: e.g., RhCMV and HCMV) as a uniquely evolved “vector” for safely initiating and indefinitely maintaining high level cellular and humoral immune responses (against, e.g., HIV, SIV, TB, etc.). Particular aspects provide a method for treatment or prevention of, e.g., HIV, SIV or TB, comprising infection of a subject in need thereof with at least one recombinant CMV-based vector (e.g., HCMV or RhCMV) comprising an expressible HIV/SIV/TB antigen or a variant or fusion protein thereof. In particular embodiments of the method, infection is of an immunocompetent, HCMV or RhCMV seropositive subject. Additional aspects provide for RhCMV- and HCMV-based vaccine vectors, and versions thereof with suicide or safety means. Further aspects provide pharmaceutical compositions comprising the inventive CMV-based vaccine vectors.
Recombinant adenoviruses and uses thereof
Featured are recombinant adenoviruses and vectors thereof. In particular, the adenoviruses are simian (rhesus) adenoviruses having a low seroprevalence and high immunogenicity (when expressing, e.g., an antigenic polypeptide) relative to other adenoviruses and vectors thereof. Also featured are methods for producing the adenoviruses and methods of treatment of diseases by administering the adenoviral vector(s) to a subject (e.g., a human).
Methods and compositions for producing an adenovirus vector for use with multiple vaccinations
Methods for generating immune responses using adenovirus vectors that allow multiple vaccinations with the same adenovirus vector and vaccinations in individuals with preexisting immunity to adenovirus are provided.
