MEDICAL INSTRUMENT GRIP DEVICE
A medical instrument grip device consisting of an open tubular element of elastic material for an elongated medical instrument comprises an elongated element having a gripping area and a head element being attached to one of the ends of the elongated element. The tubular element is open in both longitudinal ends and is configured to switch between a rolled up state and a fully unrolled state. Further, the tubular element is configured such that the head element may be forced through the inner opening of the stretched tubular element being in its rolled up state and to create a tight fit around the gripping area when being in its unrolled state.
Thermal defogging system and method
A thermal defogging system and method for an optical instrument is described. In one embodiment, the thermal defogging system for an optical instrument is comprised of: at least a primary housing, the primary housing defining an aperture for transmission of optical signals, a transparent element adapted to be aligned with the aperture for transmission of optical signals, at least one side of the transparent element facing the external environment; and a transparent conductive layer covering an area at least as large as the optical footprint of the transmitted optical signal through the transparent element, wherein responsive to the application of electrical power to the transparent conductive layer, the transparent conductive layer generates heat that is thermally communicated to the least one side of the transparent element facing the external environment.
Osteotome Set for Dental Implant Socket Formation with Alternating Base and Crestal Work Areas
A number of osteotomes, n, form a set of osteotomes, for use during a ridge expansion osteotomy to reduce alveolar stress and to reduce likelihood of a fracture, with each osteotome of the set having a conical working tip with a free end having a diameter .sub.An, and a working base .sub.Bn; a first osteotome, n=1, of the set has the working tip formed with a first diameter, .sub.A1=Y, at the free end, and with a second diameter, .sub.B1X, at the working base, the second diameter being larger than the first diameter, X>Y; and wherein for successive osteotomes of the set, the diameter at the free end increases as an alternate step and regressive step sequence, and the diameter at the working base alternately increases by a constant increment c, as a step function.

Direct cooling type handpiece
The present invention relates to a direct cooling type handpiece, and more particularly, to a direct cooling type handpiece that is configured to allow an outer housing and a core to be spaced apart from each other and thus to allow the core to be fixed to a PCB and a support cap, so that air flows to the space between the outer housing and the core, thus efficiently cooling the high heat generated from the handpiece while the handpiece is being operated.
