A dental forceps that include an elongated handle and a pair of tooth engaging members or jaws extending out of the one end of the handle and a post located in the handle with a disc at the top with a ball at the other end of the post. The post ball end inserts into the post ball holder to provide a stable support so that the dentist has leverage to extract the tooth straight out. The post disc and post ball provide the forceps with side-to-side and back-and-forth movement, thus allowing the forceps to align to the growth angle of the tooth to be extracted.

Fabrication and installation of a dental implant

A dental implant for supporting periodontal tissue and the supporting bone is provided. The dental implant includes an implant member with inner canal for insertion into a periodontal bone socket, and an anchoring assembly. The anchoring assembly includes a first fastening element and radially equidistant cylindrical members. The first fastening element engages the implant member within the hollow axial cavity. The root section includes through-holes for radially and forcibly sliding the cylindrical members through them. When the first fastening element apically advances within the hollow axial cavity, the cylindrical members generate an anchoring force to anchor the dental implant.

A device for removing a dental covering having: (a) an engagement portion, having a first plate portion which is substantially flat, that is configured to contact a portion of the dental covering along only one of a facial side or a lingual side of the dental covering; (b) a load applying portion, connected to the engagement portion and having a second plate portion which is substantially flat, which is adapted to rest upon an adjacent surface relative to the dental covering; and (c) an intermediate portion which is integral with and adjacent to both the engagement portion and the load applying portion; and wherein the first plate portion is parallel to the second plate portion. The device may be a dental covering removal tool which may find particular use in removing dental coverings, such as temporary and permanent crowns.

The crown remover is a crown removing dental appliance including a tray having a base, a buccal side vertical prong extending along an entire first side of the tray, and a palatal side vertical prong extending along an entire second side of the tray located opposite the first side. A buccal side vertical prong screw allows for adjustability of the buccal side vertical prong and a palatal side vertical prong screw allowing for adjustability of the palatal side vertical prong. A buccal side horizontal projection is located on the buccal side vertical prong and protrudes toward the center of the tray. A palatal side horizontal projection is located on the palatal side vertical prong and protrudes toward the center of the tray. A handle protrudes from the base.
