Method for manipulating a dental virtual model, method for creating physical entities based on a dental virtual model thus manipulated, and dental models thus created
A system for generating missing data for 3D models of intraoral structures of a patient. The system may include a hand-held intraoral scanner and a computer having instructions that the system to scan the intraoral structure of a patient to generate first 3D data of the surface of a prepared tooth, generate a 3D virtual model of the prepared tooth based on the first 3D data, determine the 3D virtual model is missing a surface associated with the prepared, generate second 3D data approximating the surface that is determined to be missing from the 3D virtual model intraoral structure that is missing, and combine the second 3D data with the 3D virtual model such that the 3D virtual model includes the approximated surface, wherein the approximated surface approximates the prepared tooth associated with the surface determined to be missing from the 3D virtual model.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED METHODS FOR DENTAL ATTACHMENT TEMPLATES
The present disclosure provides methods, devices, systems, and computer-implemented methods for forming and placing attachments for use with dental appliances, and more particularly to the design, manufacture, and use of three-dimensionally printed attachment templates for use with orthodontic devices. Dental attachment templates include a cavity with one or more openings for injecting and bonding attachment material directly on a patient's tooth, which allow accurate placement of the attachments while providing the dental practitioner flexibility during the attachment forming process. Digital dental attachment template model techniques can be used to accurately place the cavity and opening.

DENTAL COMPONENTS AND METHODS TO ALIGN DENTAL COMPONENTS
A system can be configured to record a position and orientation of a dental component. The system can include a coping and a replica. The coping can include an anti/rotational feature that is configured to mate with an anti-rotational feature of a dental component. The coping can also include an orientation feature that is configured to convey the orientation of the dental component. The replica can include a first anti-rotational feature that corresponds to the anti-rotational feature of the dental component. The replica can also include a second anti-rotational feature that does not correspond to the anti-rotational feature of the dental component.
RESIN COMPOSITION FOR MOLDING DEVICE FOR DENTAL VENEER RESTORATION
The disclosure related to a resin composition for molding device for dental restoration comprising 10 to 50 parts by weight of an urethane acrylate oligomer with a functionality less than 4, 20 to 40 parts by weight of morpholino-group containing acrylate monomera morpholino-group containing acrylate monomer, 10 to 40 parts by weight of a polymerizable acrylate monomer composition and 0.5 to 5 parts by weight of a photoinitiator, wherein the polymerizable acrylate monomer composition comprises 40 to 60 parts by weight of an alicyclic acrylate monomer and 40 to 60 parts by weight of ether-bond containing aliphatic acrylate monomeran ether-bond containing aliphatic acrylate monomer. The shore hardness of the resin composition after being cured of the present invention is not less than 70D and the flexural strain thereof is not less than 0.15. The resin composition can provide the molding device composed of the resin composition an excellent accuracy of shape and dimensional, and an outstanding demoldability and firmness when being removed after the restoration processes.
Methods for Direct Printing of Orthodontic and Dental Appliances onto the Teeth of a Patient
A method for directly printing orthodontic and dental appliances on the teeth of a patient. The tooth is scanned with a scanner which is communicated with a computer controller configured to recognize the anatomy of the tooth. The surface of a tooth of the patient is then prepared in order to receive the type of appliance designated for the patient. Using image data from the print head, the computer controller prepares a three-dimensional blueprint or design of an appropriate orthodontic or dental appliance. The computer controller controls the type and amount of material that is distributed through the print head only when the print head passes over the recognized anatomy so as to directly print the corresponding appliance onto the tooth layer by layer as the print head makes successive passes over the surface of the tooth.

Method for producing a blank, blank and a dental restoration
The invention relates to a blank of a ceramic material, wherein a first ceramic material and then a second ceramic material of different compositions are filled into a die and wherein the materials are pressed and after pressing are sintered. A layer of the first ceramic material is thereby filled into the die and a first cavity formed in the layer, the second ceramic material is then filled into the first open cavity and the materials pressed together and then heat-treated.

Tooth preparation guide device and method of preparing tooth for dental prosthesis
Dental preparation uses a tooth preparation guide custom-made liar fitting with teeth of a patient. The preparation guide includes one or more guide channels for guiding a cutting tool. The preparation guide enables modification of the teeth as planned with high level of precision. A dental prosthesis for installing onto prepared teeth of the patient is provided before preparation of the teeth. The prosthesis includes features that are complementary to the prepared teeth. The prosthesis can be installed immediately after preparing the teeth using the preparation guide. With the high level of accuracy and precision in the preparation of teeth, no modification of the prosthesis would be needed for installation.
