Dental implant system
A dental implant and final prosthetic placement system for small-diameter implants (and method for using the system) in which a final prosthetic is digitally designed and created, and is itself used as the drill guide to place the implants. The final prosthetic is held in the predetermined proper drilling position by a stent, such as an occlusal guard. The combination of final prosthetic (with holes through which the small-diameter implants are drilled to secure it) and the stent encasing the final prosthetic, is itself the drill guide.
DENTAL IMPLANT DEVICE
The present invention provides a dental implant device comprising a dental implant body and an implant fixture. Said implant fixture is characterized in that it comprises a portion to be fixed to said implant body and a portion to be fixed to a tooth adjacent to the transplantation site of said implant body in a subject, and is configured so that mechanical stimulation from the tooth adjacent to said transplantation site is transmissible to said implant body, and said implant device is characterized in that it is placed into the oral cavity of said subject so that said implant body is inserted at said transplantation site while said implant fixture is fixed to said implant body and the tooth adjacent to said transplantation site.
CUSTOMIZED POROUS SUPRACRESTAL IMPLANT AND MATERIALS AND METHODS FORMING THEM
The present invention generally relates to osseointegrated implants. In particular, embodiments of the present invention relate to extraosseous implants, for example, supra crestal implants, that are configured to substantially continuously cover the 3D topography of a top and a lateral surface of a bone, for example, a crestal and a lateral surface of the jaw. For example, the implants may be used on partially or completely edentulous jaws. Also, embodiments of the present invention relate to such implants made from biocompatible material of suitable porosity and elastic modulus. Specifically, embodiments of the present invention relate to improved implants suitable for implantation to bone deficient in quantity or quality, such as severely resorbed jaw bone. Further embodiments relate to a unique composite material comprising PEEK, bioglass and PMMA, and formed using triacrylate.
METHOD FOR DYNAMICALLY GUIDING A DENTAL ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL PROSTHESIS
An approach is disclosed that involves creating an implant-supported prosthesis that is dynamically guided into position using an image-guided navigation system into position in a patient's mouth without the use of a surgical guide.
MODULAR ORTHODONTIC DEVICES AND METHODS FOR TREATMENT
An orthodontic appliance is disclosed. The orthodontic appliance includes an elongated receptacle, an elongated member telescopically extending from the receptacle and adapted to couple to one or more teeth, and an elastic coupled to the elongated member. The elastic member is configured to move the elongated member towards the elongated receptacle. A movement of the elongated member relative to the elongated receptacle facilitates a repositioning of one or more teeth.
MODULAR ALIGNER DEVICES AND METHODS FOR ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT
An aligner assembly for facilitating an alignment of one or more teeth is disclosed. The aligner assembly includes a shell adapted to receive the one or more teeth. The aligner assembly further includes one or more engagement structures configured to be coupled to one of the one or more teeth or the shell. Each engagement structure includes a slot and adapted to engage with the shell for facilitating a reposition of the one or more teeth.
PATIENT -CENTERED SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR TOTAL ORTHODONTIC CARE MANAGEMENT
According to one or more embodiments, a computer implemented system for providing an orthodontic care management solution and a method for providing an orthodontic care management solution may be provided. The method may include receiving user data, such as by a user interface associated with an orthodontic care management platform. The method may further include obtaining authorization related information associated with the orthodontic care management solution. Additionally, the method may include determining a treatment plan for the user based on the user data and the authorization-related information. Also, the method may include determining a sequencing plan associated with the treatment plan based on an arrangement of one or more stages of operations associated with the treatment plan. The method may further include displaying the sequencing plan to the user. Further, the method may include receiving feedback data associated with the treatment plan. Additionally, the method may include updating the one or more databases with the feedback data. Further, the method may include performing an artificial intelligence enabled operation for providing the orthodontic care management solution.
METHOD OF INSTALLING A FINAL DENTAL PROSTHESIS
A cradle, assembly, system, and method for installing a prosthesis at a surgical site. The cradle temporarily engages the prosthesis and holds it in the correct orientation and position adjacent the surgical site. An aperture is defined in the cradle and a portion of the prosthesis is received therein. In one embodiment, the cradle, assembly and system are used to install a final dental prosthesis in a patient's mouth in a single visit to the dentist's office. A securement member pins the surgical template and subsequently the cradle to the jaw. A metal sub-structure on the final dental prosthesis is received in the aperture in the cradle. Cylinders attached to implants anchored in the jaw extend through holes in the sub-structure and are bonded to the prosthesis. The cradle is detached from the jaw and from the prosthesis prior to screws being re-inserted through the cylinders and into the implants.
Dental implant wedges
A method for securing a dental implant within a dental bone cavity is disclosed. The method may include inserting a dental wedge into the dental bone cavity and allowing bone tissues to grow toward and at least partially surround the dental wedge. Dental implantation systems for implementing the method are also disclosed. The system can include a dental wedge adapted to be inserted into a dental bone cavity.
Dental implant device and technique
A device for the replacement of missing bone and inadequate bone level, the device comprising: one or more implant blocks, shaped to fill in gaps in a jaw bone, the one or more implant blocks comprised of one or more layers characterized by a honeycomb-like structure, and one or more apertures separated by one or more raised crests; one or more screws; one or more tooth implants, the tooth implants shaped to fit in the one or more apertures of the one or more implant blocks, and having one or more internal holes in their base; one or more tooth abutments, the one or more tooth abutments including one or more members on a side complementary to the shape of the one or more internal holes of the one or more tooth implants, and a support structure; and one or more crowns, the one or more crowns shaped to fit over the support structure of the one or more tooth abutments.
