20170258562 · 2017-09-14 ·

A method and device for developing. a geometry of a superstructure and/or mesostructure for dental prostheses. According to one aspect of the invention a method of developing a geometry of a mesostructure for a dental prosthesis includes the following steps: receiving first 3D data defining a 3D installation space for a mesostructure, receiving second 3D data defining possible positions for attaching the mesostructure, receiving third 3D data defining possible positions or regions for attaching the dental prosthesis to the mesostructure, and developing an optimized geometry of the mesostructure by means of an optimization technique, wherein starting from the 3D installation space the possible positions for attaching the mesostructure and the possible positions or regions for attaching the dental prosthesis to the mesostructure, the geometry of the mesostructure is optimized by means of applying the physical laws.

A bone foundation guide system has a bone foundation guide including a body that is contoured to reversibly affix to a bone segment of a dental implant surgical site. The body is further contoured to guide the cutting of a portion of the bone segment from a dental implant surgical site and alternatively support a dental implant surgical guide. The body is further contoured to support a bone foundation guide prosthesis as an alternative to the dental implant surgical guide. The bone foundation guide prosthesis combines with the body to accommodate the bone segment portion as placed through the body prior to the bone segment portion being removed from the dental implant site through the use of the body.

A dental prosthetic assembly includes an additively manufactured semi-flexible reinforcement bar and a polymer and glass outer layer chemically luted to the semi-reinforcement bar outside of the reinforcement bar. The semi-flexible reinforcement bar forms an interior of the dental prosthetic assembly and at least a portion of the polymer and glass outer layer forms teeth of the dental prosthetic assembly. A coupling system of a dental prosthetic assembly includes pins disposed in openings extending into the dental prosthetic assembly and implant abutments configured to be coupled with a mouth of a patient. The implant anchors have horizontal holes configured to receive the pins. The pins secure the dental prosthetic assembly to the implant abutments by moving into the dental prosthetic assembly through the openings and into the holes of the implant abutments.

ANNULAR-SHAPED SUBPERIOSTEAL JAW IMPLANT

An anatomically-contoured subperiosteal jaw implant includes an annular-shaped baseplate and internal support arms corresponding to a location of a plurality of height-adjustable posts. The baseplate is configured for placement over the alveolar ridge of a mandible or maxilla bone and creates a plurality of internal apertures within the baseplate to minimize the impact on the alveolar ridge and improve re-attachment of bone and soft tissue revascularization after implant insertion. The baseplate is attached with the bone via a series of screws inserted through screw holes uniquely positioned throughout the baseplate based on individual anatomical models of a patient receiving the implant, and the height-adjustable posts are also shaped for partial insertion into the bone to reduce the height of the posts and attached dental component while also improving retention of the implant. The support arms absorb stress on the posts received via a chewing or grinding action of the jaw.

HUMAN IMPLANT

A human implant includes at least one osteoconductive scaffold and at least one main carrier. The at least one osteoconductive scaffold is made of a metal material, is manufactured by 3D printing, and has at least one connecting portion, at least one separation element, and a proliferation portion. The at least one connecting portion is porous. The at least one separation element is disposed on one of two sides of the at least one connecting portion. The proliferation portion is disposed on one of two sides of the at least one separation element away from the at least one connecting portion, wherein osteoblasts proliferate in the proliferation portion. The at least one main carrier is made of a medical macromolecular material and is mounted to the at least one connecting portion being porous, such that the at least one main carrier is mounted to the at least one osteoconductive scaffold.

Overdenture and dental implant framework

A dental prosthesis and a process for design and manufacturing, incorporating an overdenture and a dental implant framework that will be designed and manufactured simultaneously.

DENTAL PROSTHESIS SYSTEM, FOR THE USE WITH AT LEAST TWO DENTAL IMPLANTS
20210338386 · 2021-11-04 ·

A dental prosthesis system, for the use with at least two dental implants, wherein the dental prosthesis is divided in a first prosthetic part and a second prosthetic part, jointed by a prosthetic screw, and wherein the first prosthetic part is connected to the dental implants through at least two connectors, and such dental prosthesis has an engaging and guidance system, including two female elements, disposed on the top of the first prosthetic part, and two corresponding male elements, disposed on the bottom of the second prosthetic part, whereby the connection between the two female elements and the two male elements is releasable. The problems solved in the prior art are related to a bending moment derived from masticatory forces. The solution comprises installing a mechanical weakness in the prosthesis to protect the bone tissue.
