Tissue Borne Fixation System, Device, and Methods of Making and Using Same
A connector bridge configured to connect between two adjacent surgical guide foundation devices. The connector bridge may include a crossbar portion, two connector pins spaced apart from one another, and wherein the two connector pins extend outward from the crossbar portion in a generally perpendicular direction relative to the crossbar portion. The connector bridge may include a crossbar portion, two openings spaced apart from one another and formed through the crossbar portion, removable bridge pins, and wherein the removeable bridge pins may be configured to be inserted at least partially through the openings.
Dental Implant
In a dental implant (1) comprising a post part (2) which can be placed in a jaw bone and comprising a structural part (4) associated with said post part, to which structural part a denture piece can be attached, the structural part comprising an integrally moulded contact pin (8) which can be placed in an associated shaped recess (10) in the post part (2) with a positive fit, it is to be possible on the one hand to suitably index the implant in a simple and reliable manner, on the other hand a particularly high level of mechanical stability against rotation being ensured, even with an overall height which is kept low. For this purpose, in accordance with the invention the cross-sections of the contact pin (8) integrally moulded on the structural part and of the shaped recess (10), associated with said contact pin, in the post part (2) each have a number of primary directions in which the radius in each case adopts a relative maximum value, the outer contour of the cross-section being selected in such a way that it is intersected at at most two points by any straight lines, and each point has only one tangent.
Dental prosthesis
A dental prosthesis having a guide hole formed therein. The guide hole is configured to guide a drilling for a screw, and configured to receive the screw, holding the prosthesis in place when screwed into the bone of a patient.
Abutment position locator
The present application relates to a fitting for insertion into a dental implant in an insertion orientation defining a central insertion axis. The fitting includes at least one resilient spring member which extends from a body portion. It further includes an alignment feature for aligning the fitting relative to the dental implant about the insertion axis. The alignment feature extends distally beyond the distal end of the spring member.
Zygomatic implant
A zygomatic implant for supporting a dental bridge is provided. The zygomatic implant has a stem with a longitudinal axis having a threaded apical portion, an intermediate portion, and a neck portion having a seat for attachment of an abutment. The zygomatic implant has a head with a polygonal cross section that protrudes atop the neck portion, and two internal threads, each having an axis orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the stem and a mouth located on a lateral wall of the stem. The two internal threads are arranged longitudinally offset along the longitudinal axis of the stem.
Dental Prosthesis
A dental prosthesis having a guide hole formed therein. The guide hole is configured to guide placement of a dental implant, and configured to receive the implant, holding the prosthesis in place when screwed into the bone of a patient. This may allow for the simultaneous placement of both dental implant and dental prosthesis, rather than the current state of the art which requires a long waiting period between implant placement and prosthesis placement.
DISPOSITION INTRODUCED IN DENTAL IMPLANT PIN
A disposition introduced in dental implant pin to improve and speed healing of the area after insertion of the implant pin. To this end, a pin (P) containing improvements has a central diametral reduction section (6) of diametrical reduction provided with thread fillets (7), forming a space between the bone mass (M) which will allow blood clot accumulation and natural secretions of the patient's body responsible for the prompt restoration and healing of the injured region in a considerably reduced time, besides the creation of intra-implant bone rings, offering greater support to the pin body (P), providing better dissipation of the pressure exerted during mastication .
ALVEOLAR MEMBRANE
An alveolar membrane includes: a connecting portion being provided thereon with a through hole for an artificial toothroot to pass therethrough; a capping portion having its one end connected to the connecting portion and including a plurality of openings; and a fixing portion being located at an opposite end of the capping portion and having at least one digit that has a tip to be fixed in osseous tissue or between osseous tissue and soft tissue. With the connecting portion and the fixing portion at its two ends both fixed, the alveolar membrane firmly holds the osseous graft in position.
PLUGGABLE IMPLANT
A pluggable implant is disclosed that is comprising an implant body extending between a distal end and an apical end, and comprising a cavity extending from the distal end towards the apical end, the cavity capable of accommodating a plug insertable from the distal end towards the apical end, such that when the plug is fully inserted and located in its apically-most position, the plug seals the cavity. Moreover, there is a method for plugging a hollow implant is disclosed, the implant comprising an implant body extending between a distal end and an apical end, and comprising a cavity extending from the distal end towards the apical end; wherein a plug is removably inserted into the implant through the cavity from the distal end towards the apical end such that when the plug is in fully inserted position and located in its apically-most position, the plug seals the cavity.
MEMBRANE PIN AND KIT FOR INSTALLATION OF THE SAME
The present invention relates to a membrane pin used for an implant surgery, and a membrane pin installation kit for installing the membrane pin. The membrane pin installation kit according to the present invention includes a membrane pin and a pin installation device, the membrane pin including an insertion part penetrating a membrane and inserted into the alveolar bone, a plate-shaped head disposed in the direction traversing the longitudinal direction of the insertion part and having one surface coupled to one end of the insertion part, and a projection formed on the other surface of the head, and the pin installation device including a head coupling part shaped to correspond to the head of the membrane pin and coupled to the head while being in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the head, and a projection coupling part shaped to correspond to the projection of the membrane pin and coupled to the projection while being in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the projection.
