The present invention relates to a device intended to ensure the maintenance of a bone regeneration substitute (and if necessary of a cover membrane), on a bone defect of a moderate size in a jaw bone of a patient comprising a single piece formed by (1) an external pillar which is intended to be fixed in the anchor foot within the jaw bone, which external pillar comprises anti-rotational means making it possible to inhibit the relative movements of the external pillar relative to the anchor foot and by (2) a cover piece to be placed on the bone regeneration substitute so as to delimit the volume of bone regeneration at said bone defect site in combination with said bone regeneration substitute said cover piece presenting a central part in the continuation of the external pillar, and at least 2 flexible elongated lateral extensions in the continuation of the central part, which does not comprise any orifice intended for positioning of a fixing screw, and whose axis intersects perpendicularly the central axis (AA), corresponding to the axis crossing the central part and the anchor foot.

A dental implant comprising an implant platform and a strap, wherein the strap encircles the lower mandible, affixing the implant platform to the lower mandible.

Adjustable dental implant

An adjustable dental implant comprises an implant body, a connecting structure, and two wings. The implant body comprises a fixture and an abutment. The fixture comprises a top, a bottom, a peripheral surface connected between the top and the bottom, and a joining portion formed on the peripheral surface. The abutment is set on the top of the fixture. The connecting structure is set between the fixture and the abutment. The wings are pivotally connected with two opposite sides of the connecting structure. Or, one of the wings is pivotally connected with the connecting structure, and the other wing is fixed with the connecting structure. The wing or the wings may be adjusted to fit the surface of the cortical bone. Dental posts are allowed to penetrate the alveolar bone entirely to secure the fixture.

Artificial teethridge and fang

An artificial teethridge has an arched top and an arched bottom. The top and the bottom of the artificial teethridge are curved toward the same direction. The thickness of the artificial teethridge is relatively thicker at central part and gradually becomes thinner toward two lateral sides. A fang is formed integrally on the top of the artificial teethridge. The artificial teethridge, the fang and a prosthesis are an integral structure, whereby the artificial teethridge, the fang and the prosthesis form a mechanical conduction structure. The bottom surface of the artificial teethridge has a complementary structure which can be tightly matched and fixed on each point of the top surface of the alveolar bone without any gap. A dental neck is formed integrally between the artificial teethridge and prosthesis, which is formed in a waisted shape that is narrower at middle section and gradually becomes wider toward to two terminal sections.

The present invention is generally related to implants for compensating bone loss in mammalian body, and to devices and methods for replacing or creating facial bone. The present invention relates to devices and methods for implanting an implantable device in a subject's body. The implantable device embodying features of the present invention include a body formed from a rig or matrix having a trabecular meshwork structure or cells with shapes suitable for a particular anatomical area of interest. The device may be a dental implant serving as a platform for placement of dental crowns.

Dental Framework

A dental framework has an integral body with an elongated, serpentine shape framework support extending substantially the length of the body. Uniquely designed dental crown receiving abutments each have a lower section with a larger average diameter than an upper section. This creates an adhesive receiving space between the abutments and the dental crowns which are installed on them. The abutments are also positioned such that gum composite material utilized following the installation of the framework and dental crowns can be inserted between adjacent abutments and the crowns to enhance the ultimate appearance of the mouth. A series of composite attaching spikes extend downward from the framework to ensure the framework remains secured within the composite material which is utilized.

MAGNETICALLY RETAINED DENTAL PROSTHESIS

The present dental prosthesis has a palatal implant configured to be implanted subperiosteally and attached to the palatal process by a plurality of fixation screws. The implant has a spine retaining implant magnetic components therealong and having holes for the fixation screws. The prosthesis also has a maxilla denture having a palatal base plate and an alveolar ridge engaging periphery having false teeth installed thereon. The denture is configured to be placed in a mouth to engage a maxilla wherein the alveolar ridge engaging periphery engages an alveolar ridge of the maxilla. The denture comprises a plurality of denture magnetic components configured to align with the implant magnetic components so that the denture is magnetically retained in the mouth by magnetic attraction force between the implant magnetic components and the denture magnetic components.
