SURGICAL GUIDE FOR ZYGOMATIC BONE IMPLANTS
A guide for guided surgery on zygomatic bone implants for dental prostheses includes a half-bushing and a complementary half-bushing which are connected by a pair of bars. The half-bushings and the bars define a common longitudinal median axis between them; the half-bushings have a U-shaped or semicircular cross-section with mutually opposite concavities directed toward the median axis; the half-bushings and the bars form a seat in which it is possible to insert a work member, such as a burr and a subsequent implant, which can move only along the median axis and rotates about an axis of rotation that coincides with the median axis.
OROANTRAL PROSTHETIC ATTACHMENT
An Oroantral Prosthetic Attachment placed in the remaining bone to anchor in the antral zone of the paranasal sinuses using the internal cortical of the paranasal sinuses and the external cortical of the crestal zone is described. This makes the implant not to migrate to the paranasal sinuses since a supreme anchorage is performed compacting the bone with no injury, and avoids previous bone regeneration surgeries in the paranasal sinuses.
Medical implant and method of implantation
A medical implant and a method of implanting a medical implant are described. The medical implant can be elongate and for fixation in a patient, and can include an apical bone anchoring portion for bone apposition, and an unthreaded coronal portion. The coronal portion can have a length (L.sub.2) exceeding or equaling a length (L.sub.1) of the apical portion. The apical portion can have a maximum outer diameter (D.sub.1) that is equal to or larger than a maximum outer diameter (D.sub.2) of the coronal portion. In a method of implanting a medical implant, an apical part can be affixed in the zygomatic bone, and a coronal part can be positioned outside the maxilla in the mucous membrane.
Medical implant and method of implantation
A medical implant and a method of implanting a medical implant are disclosed. In some embodiments, the medical implant can include an apical bone anchoring portion for bone apposition and an unthreaded coronal portion. The coronal portion can have a length (L.sub.2) exceeding or equaling a length (L.sub.1) of the apical portion. Further, in some embodiments, the apical portion has a maximum outer diameter (D.sub.1) that is equal to or larger than a maximum outer diameter (D.sub.2) of the coronal portion. In some embodiments of the method, an apical part of an implant is affixed in the zygomatic bone and a coronal part is positioned outside the maxilla in the mucous membrane.
Guide for zygomatic dental implant drills
An apparatus for guiding a zygomatic implant dental drill installed in a dental handpiece includes a collar configured to seat on a neck portion of the dental handpiece, with an offset post extending from the collar. A first extension extends from the offset post parallel to the neck portion, and a second extension extends from the first extension. The second extension is oriented parallel to the zygomatic implant dental drill, extending from the first extension to be co-terminal and off-set from the zygomatic implant dental drill. By observing the travel of the second extension along a patient's face, a dental surgeon can guide the zygomatic implant dental drill inside the patient toward the patient's zygomatic bone.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR A TRANSALVEOLAR DENTAL IMPLANT
The present disclosure relates to single tooth or full arch dental restoration. In cases where patients have insufficient bone stock for conventional root-form dental implants, current solutions often fail to restore function. The present disclosure describes a transalveolar dental implant for single tooth or full arch dental restoration. The transalveolar dental implant is comprised of a post and a bone plate, the bone plate having a contoured portion fabricated to match the topography of a bony surface of the facial skeleton. Through primary fixation of the contoured portion of the bone plate, the transalveolar dental implant improves function and outcomes in affected patients.
Angled Dental Implant With Angled Anchor Point
An angled zygomatic implant apparatus for spanning a patient's zygomatic bone and maxillary bone includes a zygomatic abutment screw with a conical receptacle and san implant threaded bore, the zygomatic abutment screw is adapted for fixation in the patient's zygomatic bone, and an angled extension having an implant end adapted with a conical portion adapted for fixation to the conical receptacle of the zygomatic abutment screw. The angled extension is elongated and otherwise adapted to span the space between a patient's zygomatic bone and maxillary bone for fixing a maxillary tooth implant.

BONE FOUNDATION GUIDE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A bone foundation guide system having a bone foundation guide with a foundation guide body forming an open surgical space connecting a top of the bone foundation guide body with a bottom of the bone foundation guide body, the bottom contoured to removably affix the bone foundation guide body to the bone of a dental implant surgical site, the body further contoured to guide the cutting of bone from a dental implant surgical site and supporting a dental implant surgical guide; the dental implant surgical guide contoured to removably mate to the bone foundation guide body; wherein a combination of the bone foundation guide and the dental implant surgical guide forms a double open-ended placement channel that passes through a plurality of guiding cylinders held in tandem alignment to aid in the placement of a dental implant that is anchored in a site remote from the mouth.
Apparatus and a method to verify safe positioning of osteotomy trajectory for zygomatic implant surgery
An apparatus for verifying an osteotomy trajectory includes a straight rod portion extending along a first axis in a first direction, a sliding arm slidably coupled to the straight rod portion and configured to slide along a sliding direction on the straight rod portion along the first axis. The sliding arm may include a sliding portion slidably coupled to the straight rod portion to slide along the sliding direction, a pointing portion including a tip protruded along a second axis in a second direction, the second axis being at least substantially parallel to the first axis, and an extending portion having a first side attached to the sliding portion and a second side attached to the pointing portion. The apparatus further includes a fixed arm coupled to the straight rod portion and configured to mount a drill thereon to point the drill along the second axis toward the tip.
