HEALING ABUTMENT SYSTEM FOR CONFIGURING CROWN ABUTMENTS AT AN IMPLANT SITE
An anatomical healing abutment is configured to connect to a dental implant. The healing abutment has a body portion which includes at least three reference marks that provide data to orient the connection axis of the abutment with the that of the dental implant so that certain conventional steps, including healing abutment manipulation, multiple scans, and the taking of impressions, can be eliminated, thereby saving time and effort on the part of the practitioner.
DENTAL COMPONENTS AND METHODS TO ALIGN DENTAL COMPONENTS
A system can be configured to record a position and orientation of a dental component. The system can include a coping and a replica. The coping can include an anti/rotational feature that is configured to mate with an anti-rotational feature of a dental component. The coping can also include an orientation feature that is configured to convey the orientation of the dental component. The replica can include a first anti-rotational feature that corresponds to the anti-rotational feature of the dental component. The replica can also include a second anti-rotational feature that does not correspond to the anti-rotational feature of the dental component.
METHOD FOR MATCHING STRUCTURE DATA AND SYSTEM FOR MATCHING STRUCTURE DATA USING SAME
In a method for matching structure data according to the present disclosure, scanned data is used for a prepared part and library model data loaded in advance in a library is used for an unprepared part, such that the method has an advantage of improving reliability of oral model data required for an implant crown procedure.
METHOD OF PRODUCING A DENTAL OBJECT
A method of producing a dental object (100), including the steps of producing a pillared support structure (101) on the dental object (100); and producing a lattice structure (103) for reinforcing the support structure (101).
Anchoring system for attaching a prosthesis to a human body
The present invention relates to an anchoring system for attaching a prosthesis to a human body, comprising: an anchoring element, an abutment, an abutment screw for attaching the abutment to the anchoring element, the anchoring element comprises a connection area for the abutment, the connection area comprising a press-fit portion such that the abutment is attached to the anchoring element in the connection area by a press-fit connection, wherein the connection area comprises an anti-rotation geometry and the abutment comprising a corresponding mating anti-rotation geometry proximal to the press-fit portion, and where in the connection area comprises a conical portion proximal to the anti-rotational geometry forming a mating geometry for a corresponding conical portion in the through-hole of the abutment.
METHOD FOR USING INTEGRATED LIBRARY
A method for using an integrated library according to the present invention is characterized in that when a user selects a target position, an abutment to be applied to an oral cavity of a patient is loaded, and when an abutment model is selected in a database thereof, margin line data linked with the selected abutment model can be displayed together. In addition, the margin line data is not only simply displayed in a thumbnail displaying step, but also can be linked with oral data to be used together. The margin line data can also be edited so as to have a more appropriate form according to the user's need and be stored, such that the existing margin line data can be substituted with edited margin line data.
PROSTHETIC DENTAL SCREW IMPLANT, TIGHTENING TOOL AND COUPLING SYSTEM BETWEEN THE TWO
Dental prosthetic screw, tightening tool and coupling system firstly refers to a screw for retaining and fixing a dental element in a dental implant, said dental element being able to be any component that preferably aims to support a dental structure or dental prosthesis, preferably machined or laser sintered or laser sintered and re-machined or machined by CAD/CAM, and even the structure itself or dental prosthesis. Therefore, different components are used in the manufacture of prostheses on dental implants in human implantology, requiring said components to be retained and fixed to the dental implant by means of screws on the implant. Moreover, the invention relates to a screwdriver or tightening tool compatible with said dental screw and a tightening or coupling system formed by the two.
SMART DENTAL IMPLANT SYSTEM FOR AMBULATORY DENTAL CARE
Smart dental implant systems and methods for ambulatory dental care are provided. In some embodiments, the disclosed subject matter includes a crown, adapted to mimic a patient's anatomy and location of the smart dental implant system. The crown can include piezoelectric nanoparticles, disposed on a surface of the crown and adapted to generate electricity from a patient's oral motion. In some embodiments, the disclosed subject matter includes an abutment, coupled to the crown. The abutment can include an energy harvesting circuit, operationally coupled to the piezoelectric nanoparticles and adapted to harvest the electricity, and a micro LED array, operationally coupled to the energy harvesting circuit and adapted to photobiomodulate surrounding peri-implant soft tissue.
Method of creating an accurate bone and soft-tissue digital dental model
A method of creating a 3-D anatomic digital model for determining a desired location for placing at least one dental implant in a patient's mouth. The method comprises the act of obtaining a first dataset associated with hard tissue of the patient's mouth. The method further comprises the act of obtaining a second dataset associated with soft tissue of the patient's mouth. The method further comprises the act of combining the first dataset and the second dataset to create a detailed structure of hard tissue and soft tissue having variable dimensions over the hard tissue.
SCREW-ATTACHED PICK-UP DENTAL COPING SYSTEM, METHODS AND ACCESSORIES
A temporary alignment system, methods, and accessories for holding a dental coping to an implant abutment using a separable fastener using the same threads in the implant abutment used for definitive attachment are disclosed. The disclosed temporary fasteners initially orient and hold a coping against an implant abutment with a force along the same axis as the semi-definitive screw. The aligned coping can be picked-up in a closed-tray impression process without unscrewing the temporary fastener. Embodiments include threaded posts that release copings from the implant abutment through axial forces. Some embodiments include a threaded post with separable cap that is picked-up with the coping. Methods and accessories for using the separable fastener assembly or portions of it during conversion of an existing prosthesis for screw attachment or fabrication and fitting of a new prosthesis are described.
