METHOD OF IMPLANTING DENTAL RESTORATION
In order to improve the reliability of a dental restoration, the present invention provides a method of implanting the dental restoration. The method includes a first operation in which a three-dimensional planning image is generated in which a scanning image overlaps and matches to a computed tomography (CT) image, a plurality of pieces of implantation information of implants are set along a dental arch in the three-dimensional planning image, and an implanting guide device is designed and manufactured, a second operation in which an alveolar bone is flattened by being guided by the implanting guide device, the implants are implanted, and a holder device including a holder abutment and a fixing bar is fixed to an upper side of the implant, a third operation in which a temporary denture is corrected to be occluded between upper and lower jaws to form a temporary mounting portion in which the holder device is inserted into an inner surface portion thereof, a fourth operation in which a corrected scanning image corrected to expose three-dimensional exterior information of the temporary mounting portion to the outside is obtained from a scanning image of the temporary denture, and the three-dimensional exterior information of the temporary mounting portion is replaced and swapped with a virtual holder device, and a fifth operation in which a mount part is formed in an inner surface portion on the basis of the virtual holder device, and an artificial tooth part is fixed to an artificial gum part to which a clip engaged with the fixing bar is fixed so as to manufacture a final dental restoration.
FIXATION PIN
A method including fixing a dental drill template with a fixation pin including a rod and a head attached to the rod. The dental drill template can be fixed by inserting the rod into the drill template or a sleeve provided in the drill template such that a bearing surface of the head bears at least partially on the drill template. The rod has a shape of an essentially circular cylinder and extends from the bearing surface of the head at an essentially right angle. A diameter of the head at the bearing surface is larger than the diameter of the rod.
FIXATION PIN
A fixation pin for fixing a dental drill template. The fixation pin has a head having a bearing surface that is intended to bear at least partially on the drill template, or a sleeve provided in the drill template. The fixation pin has a rod having a shape of an essentially circular cylinder and extending from the bearing surface at an essentially right angle. The rod is intended to be inserted into the drill template or the sleeve provided in the drill template.
Dental implant evaluation unit
A dental implant evaluation unit is disclosed and described. The dental implant evaluation includes a body portion having threads that mimic the general thread pattern of an actual dental implant, without attempting to copy any of the osseointegrative features of the actual implant. A threaded collar is associated with the body portion, and, in certain embodiments, a safety flange is screwed to the threaded collar. The safety flange prevents the dental implant evaluation unit from infiltrating the sinus of a patient when testing the fit of a maxillary implant. The dental implant evaluation unit can be used by a dentist to evaluate the proper size and fit for an actual dental implant by installing the dental implant evaluation unit, and imaging the same, prior to installing the actual dental implant.
Components for use with a surgical guide for dental implant placement
The present invention is a surgical guide for guiding the insertion of a dental implant into a desired location in a patient's mouth. The implant includes a non-rotational structure. The surgical guide includes a structure and a master tube. The structure has a negative impression surface to be fitted on and placed over gingival tissue, bone, and/or teeth in the patient's mouth. The structure includes an opening through which the dental implant is placed. The master tube is located at the opening. The master tube includes indicia for alignment with the non-rotational structure on the implant such that the non-rotational structure of the implant is at a known angular orientation with respect to the master tube. The present invention includes kits of various components used with the surgical guide and with the dental surgery using the surgical guide.
Angular abutment for dental implants
A series of at least three abutments for dental use and a method for selection and aligning an abutment therefrom in a patient mouth. The series comprises at least three abutments. Each abutment composes a mate of a polygonal rotation preventive adapter having an axis of rotation perpendicularly to a lateral cross section, and a support member extending from a proximal end of the mate and having rotational symmetry to the axis of rotation. A projection of the support member on a plane of the lateral cross section in at least one abutment, is asymmetric with respect to angle bisectors and medians of the polygonal shape. An angle between a straight line extending from the axis of rotation to a reference point on a projection circumference of the support member forms a unique offset angle with a side of the polygonal shape per each dental abutment in the series.
Implant installation strength evaluation method, implant installation strength evaluation device, and program
An implant installation strength evaluation method includes a step of vibrating an implant, a step of measuring time series data of the number of vibrations and vibration strengths of the implant vibrated in the vibrating step, and a step of deriving information indicating an index of an installation strength of the implant based on the time series data of the number of vibrations and vibration strengths of the implant.
Implant surgery guiding method
The present disclosure provides an implant surgery guiding method of guiding a position, direction and depth of a fixture to a dentist by real-time images. The implant surgery guiding method includes: (a) generating a 3D oral cavity image for a patient; (b) designing a target placement including a target position and a target orientation of a fixture based in the 3D oral cavity image; (c) attaching an oral marker comprising a first pattern to a jawbone or a surrounding body portion of the patient, determining a spatial relationship between the oral marker and the jawbone, attaching a handpiece marker comprising a second pattern on a handpiece of a dentist, and determining a spatial relationship between the handpiece marker and the handpiece; and (d) estimating positions and orientations of the jawbone and the handpiece based on changes in positions and orientations of the oral marker and the handpiece marker while tracking the motions of the oral marker and the handpiece marker, and displaying a jawbone image portion and a handpiece image portion on a screen reflecting real-time changes in the positions and orientations of the jawbone and the handpiece.
ANGULAR ABUTMENT FOR DENTAL IMPLANTS
A series of abutments for dental use and a method for selection and aligning an abutment therefrom in a patient mouth. The series comprises at least three abutments. Each abutment comprises a mate of a polygonal rotation preventive adapter having an axis of rotation perpendicularly to a lateral cross section, and a support member extending from a proximal end of the mate and having rotational symmetry to the axis of rotation.
