Dental implant instrument set and sinus curettes for vertically displacing sinus mucosa to form a space for bone augmentation
20210378786 · 2021-12-09 ·

A dental implant instrument set for vertically displacing sinus mucosa to form a space for bone augmentation comprises a bone drill and a sinus curette. The bone drill includes a drill bit for drilling upwardly a hole at a site of the alveolar bone where a tooth is lost, so as to expose sinus mucosa. The sinus curette includes a holding portion and a curette head portion. The curette head portion has one end provided with a turning part for separating from the alveolar bone and displacing the exposed sinus mucosa inward through the hole drilled by the drill bit, so as to form a space for bone augmentation above the site of the alveolar bone where the tooth is lost. The turning part is arranged to be at a first angle between 45 to 135 degrees with the curette head portion.

CONDENSING SCREW FOR IMPLANT PROCEDURE HAVING DOUBLE SPIRAL STRUCTURE
20230301696 · 2023-09-28 · ·

Disclosed herein is a “condensing screw for an implant procedure.” A “condensing screw for an implant procedure” of the present invention is provided with: a screw main body which is inserted into an implant planting hole formed by an pilot drilling process, enlarges the implant planting hole to a size large enough to insert an implant fixture, and forms osseodensification regions on the side surfaces and the inside of the implant planting hole; and a shank which extends upward from the screw main body, is coupled to a driving unit, and transmits the torque of the driving unit to the screw main body. The condensing screw can enlarge the implant planting hole and perform the osseodensification process simultaneously, and can be used for maxillary sinus augmentation.

Dental implant for implantation facilitation and stabilization
11185393 · 2021-11-30 · ·

A bone implant and in particular a dental implant having an apical end configured to facilitate placement and stabilization within an implantation site, wherein the distal end of said apical end has a contoured surface, and the apical surface of said apical end has at least one apical surface recess extending toward the coronal part of the implant.

TORQUE-ANGLE STRUCTURAL FASTENING SYSTEM
20220016750 · 2022-01-20 ·

A fastening system that comprises a fastener and a single tool that provides both snugging torque and final tensioning to the fastener assembly, from a single side, with a single operator, with no torque feedback. The fastener comprises a nut and a bolt with a head and a shank extending axially from the head. The shank has at least one threaded portion and at least one splined portion, the splined portion defining the end of the bolt. The splined portion remains connected to the threaded portion after final tensioning. The tool comprises a first socket and a second socket, wherein the first socket is engaged with an outer surface of the nut and the second socket is engaged with the splined portion on the fastener. Snugging torque and final tension are both controlled by the tool.

METHOD FOR VIBRATION ENHANCED ALVEOLAR AUGMENTATION
20230139483 · 2023-05-04 ·

A novel method for extra-alveolar vertical augmentation utilizing bone graft and low-magnitude high-frequency vibration. Graft material is placed at an extra-alveolar location along the alveolar ridge. The graft can be used alone or formed into a PRF block to help it maintain volumetric shape during the initial healing process. After insertion into the surgical site, the graft can be covered by a barrier, for example a bioactive amnion/chorion barrier. The flaps are then sutured to attempt to obtain primary closure over the graft and barrier. Low-magnitude high-frequency vibration is applied, resulting vertically augmented alveolar bone.

SINUS DENTAL IMPLANT
20230355358 · 2023-11-09 · ·

A sinus dental implant includes a main body, an external thread, and a plurality of spiral cutting flutes. The main body has opposite connection end and drilling end. The drilling end has a centered recess surrounded by a drilling zone and communicable with the spiral cutting flutes. The external thread and the spiral cutting flutes are extended in two different spiral directions. The drilling zone is divided by the spiral cutting flutes into a plurality of drilling segments, each of which has two sides located at different heights to thereby include a lower and an upper drilling portion. When the sinus dental implant is implanted into an alveolar hole to contact with a bottom thereof, the lower drilling portions at the drilling end cut the bottom of the alveolar hole slowly, so that the sinus dental implant can drill further in the alveolar hole instead of idling therein.
