Variable Geometry Osteotome Set with Multiple Modes of Use for Implant Socket Formation
A set of osteotomes have conical tips with free end diameters alternately increasing by a constant increment, k, as a step function, beginning with the first osteotome; and working base diameters alternately increases by a constant increment, C, as a step function, beginning with the second osteotome. For seven osteotomes, the first and second diameters respectively are: 1 mm and 2 mm; 1 mm and 3 mm; 2 mm and 3 mm; 2 mm and 4 mm; 3 mm and 4 mm; 3 mm and 5 mm; and 4 mm and 5 mm. In a first mode all seven osteotomes are used to provide very gradual diameter escalations. In a second mode the first, third, fifth, and seventh osteotomes provide conventional Summers' diameter escalations. In third and fourth modes the first, fourth, and seventh osteotomes, and the second, fifth, and seventh osteotomes respectively provide increasingly more aggressive Summers' type escalations.
Internal sinus lifting drill set
A system and method is provided for performing internal maxillary sinus lift procedures where the system and method employs a set of sequentially deployed surgical drill bits to be used in conjunction with a dental implant surgical kit for performing internal maxillary sinus lift procedures in the dental implant surgical situations where the sub-antral bone height is not adequate to host an implant.
Tooth implant method
An accurate and precise surgical guide for dental procedures, especially a procedure involving a subject with few or no teeth as well as methods for making and use of such guides.
TOOTH IMPLANT METHOD
An accurate and precise surgical guide for dental procedures, especially a procedure involving a subject with few or no teeth as well as methods for making and use of such guides.
Guide element and device for creating a hole in a bone
A guide element is constructed for arrangement on a device for the penetrating extension of a blind hole created in hard tissue, in particular in the jawbone, wherein the device includes a hollow body that forms a pressure chamber and that has a distal working opening and an inlet opening opposite the working opening. The guide element can be inserted into the inlet opening with a tight fit and the inlet opening can be closed by the guide element, the guide element has a through-hole, through which a shaft of a working tool, for example, of a milling tool, can be guided and inserted into the hollow body, and the guide element has a connection for a working medium for applying an internal pressure in the pressure chamber or in the hollow body
COMPOSITION FOR BONE REGENERATION
The composition for bone regeneration, comprises a) a first phase (3) comprising a plurality of cross-linked hydrogel chunks (1) having a mean diameter of less than 1000 m and incorporating an amount of mineral particles (2); and b) a second phase (4) comprising a physiologically-compatible aqueous liquid acting as a carrier for the chunks; the chunks being embedded in the second phase (4). The mineral particles (2) have a mean diameter of less than 10 m and the amount of the mineral particles (2) is less than 20 weight-% of the first phase.
Dental implants, devices and methods associated with dental implantation procedures
A dental implant is provided. In some embodiments, the dental implant facilitates viewing an outside of a distal end of the dental implant via a proximal opening of the dental implant, and/or facilitates providing bone graft material via selectively closable one or more distal openings. A dental implant installation procedure is also provided in which a distal end of a dental implant is projected into a paranasal sinus cavity or a nasal cavity to displace the respective sinus membrane or nasal cavity membrane from the respective cavity floor, while minimizing risk of damaging the respective membrane. Bone graft material is introduced into the space created between the respective membrane and the respective cavity floor via a distal portion of the dental implant to form a desired sinus augmentation.
Implant for bone-graft and a method for bone-grafting using the same
An implant for bone-graft insertedly placed in a procedure pore, the implant includes a bone organism having a lump shape, and a protective film coated to cover an overall outer surface of the bone organism as to form an absorbent membrane. After the implant is insertedly placed in the procedure pore, the absorbent member is absorbed into a body and dissolved as time passes. The implant for the bone-graft may be applied to diverse procedures performed for hone-graft not only in a dental surgery but also in orthopedics or a plastic surgery.
MEMORY ELASTIC WIRE SLEEVE FOR PEELING MAXILLARY SINUS MEMBRANE
A memory elastic wire sleeve for peeling maxillary sinus mucous membrane is adapted for implant surgeries and/or bone grafting in the regions close to the maxillary sinus floor. The memory elastic wire sleeve includes a primary peeling structure and a secondary peeling structure, wherein the primary peeling structure comprises a hollow sleeve and a peeling edge located on the top of the hollow sleeve, and can peel the maxillary sinus mucous membrane preliminarily, and the second peeling structure is a memory elastic wire which can further peel the maxillary sinus mucous membrane. The memory elastic wire sleeve is simple and dainty, and can safely and effectively peel away the maxillary sinus mucous membrane within a large range.
DENTAL OR DENTAL SURGICAL ULTRASONIC TOOL
A dental or dental surgical ultrasonic tool, comprising: a tool body, a connecting device for connection to an ultrasonic source, a working section extending along a longitudinal axis and designed to penetrate into bone to be treated, and a liquid line extending through the tool body in the direction of the working section and ending in at least one opening for the discharge of a liquid, wherein the working section has a distal end face with multiple cutting edges and a. lateral surface connected thereto, wherein at least one channel for conveying a liquid is provided in the lateral surface, and wherein the at least one opening of the liquid line is disposed on the lateral surface in the at least one channel or directly adjacent to the at least one channel. Additionally or alternatively, the at least one channel extends helically around the longitudinal axis of the working section.
