Orthodontic correction device
An orthodontic correction device set up within an oral cavity of a patient. It includes a bone screw member that has a plate, the plate includes at least a positioning portion, and a surface of the plate includes at least a fixing member; at least a bone screw is in connection with at least a positioning portion of the bone screw member, and that is fixed by implanting into the oral cavity; at least a base body is assembled on a surface of the teeth and including a connecting portion; and at least an elastic member, a fixing end of the elastic member is assembled and fixed on the fixing member of the bone screw member, a functioning end of the elastic member is in mutual connection with the connecting portion of the base body, and an orthodontic correction force is formed between the fixing end and the functioning end.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CORRECTING ORTHODONTIC MALOCCLUSIONS
A sequential orthodontic appliance includes a body and one or more first magnets disposed on the body and arranged to provide either repulsive or attractive force between one or more second magnets disposed on a surface of a tooth in need of repositioning. One or more temporary anchorage devices are used to secure the appliance to a person with the body disposed approximate the tooth.
Device for generating data on clear aligner
Provided is a device for generating data on a clear aligner, which is equipped with a module for generating the data on the clear aligner, which generates 3D data relating to the clear aligner, the module including; a first module that receives data on a current dental state from a scanning apparatus that scans patient's teeth; a second module that generates 3D data on a state of the patient's teeth and of the vicinity of the patient's teeth based on data that results from the scanning a third module that generates data relating to a 3D clear aligner with a predetermined thickness; and a fourth module that processes the data relating to the 3D clear aligner in such a manner that at least one of a shape and a feature of the 3D clear aligner is changed.
Orthodontic device
An orthodontic/orthognathic device for correcting and changing tooth placements and bone structure, and a method of using orthodontic/orthognathic device for tooth movement, correcting syndromic conditions of the mouth and osteogenetic correction. The device may be used for maxillary distraction and expansion as well as mandibular separation and expansion. The device can be controlled by computer to direct tooth and bone placement.
Intermaxillary fixation device and method of using same
A medical apparatus including a bar with a first attachment loop, a second attachment and a plurality of hooks, wherein the medical apparatus is an arch bar.
Systems and methods including palatal expanders with anchor interfaces
A series of a palatal expanders increasing width can be used to gradually expand a patient's palate. Each palatal expander may have a palatal region flanked by teeth regions. The palatal region can have a plurality of anchor-receiving features (e.g., anchor interfaces) that allow the palatal expander to be attached to temporary anchorage device anchors that have been implanted into the patient's maxilla.
Implant plate device
An implant plate device comprises a plate base body, further comprises at least one fixing recess, which is introduced in the plate base body and is configured for receiving a jawbone screw that is configured, for a fixation of the plate base body, to be screwed through the fixing recess into a bone, in particular a jawbone, and comprises at least one inner thread adjoining the fixing recess, wherein the implant plate device comprises at least one functional recess, introduced in the plate base body, for a coupling with an orthodontic treatment apparatus and/or with a drilling and/or insertion templet.
Mandibular repositioning via bone anchoring devices
A mandibular repositioning apparatus may include anchoring devices shaped for positioning in an intraoral cavity of a patient. Each of the anchoring devices may be configured to be positioned in a respective bone of a respective jaw of the patients. The mandibular repositioning apparatus may include one or more connecting structures configured to displace a lower jaw in an anterior-posterior direction relative to an upper jaw. The one or more connecting structures and the anchoring devices may be configured to be arranged to produce an anterior-posterior force component to move the lower jaw that is greater than a vertical force component.
BONE-MOUNTED DENTAL ARCH VENEERS AND METHODS FOR FABRICATING AND UTILIZING THE SAME
Bone-secured dental arch veneers and methods for fabricating and utilizing the same. The dental arch veneers include a veneer assembly having one or more tooth veneers and a support structure configured to support the tooth veneer(s). The dental arch veneers also include a coupling structure configured to interconnect the veneer assembly to a bone mount that is anchored along a user's maxilla or mandible. The coupling structure also is configured to permit the veneer assembly to be selectively and repeatedly interconnected with and disconnected from the bone mount. The methods include determining a target region within the user's mouth, obtaining a representation of the target region, manipulating the representation to create a desired arrangement of the user's teeth within the target region, determining anchoring positions proximate the target region for anchoring the bone mount, and forming the dental arch veneer based on the anchoring positions and the desired arrangement.
ORTHODONTIC ALIGNER WITH ELASTOMERIC INNER SURFACE AND RIGID OUTER SURFACE, AND METHODS OF ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT WITH SAME
An orthodontic aligner includes an inner functional layer comprised of an elastomer and a non-elastomeric outer functional layer. The outer layer may be a biocompatible rigid or semi-rigid polymer. The inner layer may include inner cavities each shaped to receive therein a tooth attachment, such as a lingual tooth attachment. The rigid outer functional layer is sufficiently strong and heat-resistant to withstand the forces and temperatures of eating. The rigid outer layer also provides sufficient lateral force to work on teeth even using lingual or palatal attachments, and to perform orthodontic treatments that are unavailable with elastomeric aligners. A system for orthodontic treatment may include the aligner and tooth attachments, metal rings or snap buttons, magnets, a temporary grill, or at least one chain for raising and exposing an impacted tooth. The orthodontic aligners may be used in various orthodontic treatments, including sequential distalization and raising of an impacted tooth.
