BONE-MOUNTED DENTAL ARCH VENEERS AND METHODS FOR FABRICATING AND UTILIZING THE SAME
20200222158 · 2020-07-16 ·

Bone-secured dental arch veneers and methods for fabricating and utilizing the same. The dental arch veneers include a veneer assembly having one or more tooth veneers and a support structure configured to support the tooth veneer(s). The dental arch veneers also include a coupling structure configured to interconnect the veneer assembly to a bone mount that is anchored along a user's maxilla or mandible. The coupling structure also is configured to permit the veneer assembly to be selectively and repeatedly interconnected with and disconnected from the bone mount. The methods include determining a target region within the user's mouth, obtaining a representation of the target region, manipulating the representation to create a desired arrangement of the user's teeth within the target region, determining anchoring positions proximate the target region for anchoring the bone mount, and forming the dental arch veneer based on the anchoring positions and the desired arrangement.

INTEGRATED BRACES WITH VENEERS, CROWNS, OR BRIDGES
20200214805 · 2020-07-09 ·

A dental appliance comprising a veneer, bridge, or crown with an integrated brace together formed as a single piece of material. The braces, crowns, veneers, and bridges may be printed with 3-dimesional (3D) software and SLA milling. Embodiments of the present invention provide the printed veneer, crown or bridge with an orthodontic portion (brace or bracket) that is all one piece. This can be used to move teeth orthodontically and provide a degree of esthetics. The appliance may include identification marks, which may guide placement of the appliance in a patient's mouth. The brace and identification marks can be removed, leaving the veneer, crown, or bridge behind.

DENTAL TRACTION DEVICE

A dental traction device comprises an extension main-body, a tractive-body, a blocking-stopping-body, and a seat-body. When using, the dental orthotics are firstly set and the dental correction archwire connection is set, and the bone nail is set at the gum; then, the seat-body is fixed on the dental correction archwire; one end of the elastic element is bypass the blocking-stopping-body to stick and engage on the tractive-body and the other end is stuck and engaged on the bone nail; then the blocking-stopping-body is cooperated with the tractive-body to fix the elastic element to avoid falling-off; and the contraction elastic force of the elastic element generates the pulling force to the dental correction archwire and the teeth by using the extension main-body as the force moment to produce the traction correction effect; and so as to achieve the practicality and progressiveness which is convenient in use and avoids falling-off.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS INCLUDING PALATAL EXPANDERS WITH ANCHOR INTERFACES

A series of a palatal expanders increasing width can be used to gradually expand a patient's palate. Each palatal expander may have a palatal region flanked by teeth regions. The palatal region can have a plurality of anchor-receiving features (e.g., anchor interfaces) that allow the palatal expander to be attached to temporary anchorage device anchors that have been implanted into the patient's maxilla.

The present invention discloses a brace for using with a corrective dental arch and an occlusal dental arch. The brace comprises a plurality of elastic arms, extensive portions and corrective portions. Each of the elastic arms is in contact with an inner side or an outer side of the corrective dental arch, and does not exceed a lowest occlusal surface of the corrective dental arch. The corrective portions are connected with the elastic arms via the extensive portions, and are in contact with a highest occlusal surface of the corrective dental arch so that the corrective portions exceed the highest occlusal surface. In addition, the corrective portions have a corrective plane that can occlude with the occlusal dental arch to generate an occlusal force substantially perpendicular to the highest occlusal surface.

Orthodontic system anchoring method and apparatus
10595971 · 2020-03-24 ·

Orthodontic system anchoring method and custom apparatus affixed to teeth, TADs and/or tooth positioning and stabilization appliances and/or orthodontic auxiliaries. Each appliance has mechanical fasteners structured to secure segments of a curable flexible resin rope called a flex fit module (FFM). The FFM is moldable and adaptable to the oral cavity between mechanical fasteners in an uncured first mode where it is cut to length, positioned around the anatomy of the mouth and attached to clamps or fasteners at each end. Each fastener has a clamp attached to orthodontic auxiliaries, orthodontic appliances or onto a TAD for anchorage purposes. One end of this custom appliance is usually attached via a clamp manufactured as part of a bracket or band to a tooth. The other end is connected to an appliance, tad or auxiliary. Once connected together the system is cured and becomes a solid entity ready to accept orthodontic forces.
