HAND, FOOT, AND MOUTH VACCINES AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE AND USE THEREOF

The present disclosure relates to hand, foot, and mouth disease vaccines and immunogenic compositions having one or more antigens from at least one virus that causes hand, foot, and mouth disease in humans, and methods of manufacture, formulation, and testing, and uses thereof. Thus, there is a need to develop vaccines and immunogenic compositions for treating and/or preventing hand, food, and mouth disease, particularly in children. In order to meet this need, the present disclosure provides vaccines and immunogenic compositions for treating and/or preventing hand, foot, and mouth disease that include antigens from at least one virus that causes hand, foot, and mouth disease in humans, such as EV71, CA6, and CA16.

The present invention relates to a recombinant adenoviral vector for generating immunity against enterovirus infection. In one embodiment, the recombinant adenoviral vector of the invention comprises an expression cassette encoding a PI protein and a 3 CD protease of an enterovirus. In another embodiment, the recombinant adenoviral vector of the invention comprises an expression cassette encoding a 3C protease or a 3CD protease of an enterovirus. The present invention also relates to a vaccine composition comprising the recombinant adenoviral vector as described. A method of inducing an immune response in a subject against enterovirus infection using the recombinant adenoviral vector and the vaccine composition is provided. Further provided is a method for producing virus like particles of an enterovirus by expressing the adenoviral vector as described herein in mammalian cells.

COMBINATION METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF CANCER

The invention relates to methods of treating tumours comprising delivering an oncolytic virus or oncolytic viral RNA via direct injection or systemic administration or intravesicular administration to the tumour or cancer in combination with the co-administration of an immuno-stimulatory agent via the systemic route to a mammal.

Pharmaceutical composition containing stabilized nucleic acid adjuvant

The present disclosure relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a nucleic acid molecule of an adjuvant, a metal complex stabilizing the nucleic acid molecule, and optionally an immunogen that may be a peptide or a protein, or a composition of stabilizing the nucleic acid molecule of the adjuvant comprising the metal complex. The metal complex interacts with the nucleic acid molecule of the adjuvant and/or the immunogen so as to stabilize such pharmaceutically active ingredients, and induces continuous effectiveness of the active ingredients without degradation.

Antitumor virus

Disclosed is a virus inhibiting Wnt signaling and a method for Wnt signaling using the virus. Also disclosed is a method for treating tumors using the virus.

BIVALENT INACTIVATED EV71-CA16 VACCINE, METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME, AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to the technical field of vaccine preparation, and particularly, to a bivalent inactivated EV71-CA16 vaccine, a method for preparing the same, and use thereof. The present invention implements the preparation by means of separately adsorbing a monovalent viral stock solution containing an EV71 antigen and a monovalent viral stock solution containing a CA16 antigen with an adjuvant and then mixing same, thereby improving the content of the EV71 antigen and the CA16 antigen in the vaccine substance and greatly improving the adsorption rate and recovery rate of EV71 and CA16 antigens. Moreover, the bivalent EV71-CA16 viral antigen can cause positive seroconversion and up-regulation of the corresponding neutralizing antibody and induce a higher serum antibody level, thus facilitating the preparation of the bivalent inactivated EV71-CA16 vaccine and preventing hand-foot-and-mouth disease.
