METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A DENTAL RESTORATION
The invention relates to a method for the production of a restoration from a blank consisting of, or containing, a lithium silicate glass ceramic, wherein at least two layers of ceramic material of different compositions are filled into a mold layer-by-layer and after filling of the layers they are then pressed and sintered, wherein after filling of a first layer this is structured on its surface in such a way that the first layer, viewed across its surface, differs in its height from region to region, and then a layer with a composition that differs from the first layer is filled as a second layer into the mold. After sintering the dental restoration is produced from the blank by mechanical working.
DENTURE BASE MATERIAL PACKAGE AND METHOD FOR CREATING DENTURE
Provided are a denture base material package capable of improving operation efficiency while securing quality, without being influenced by an operator's skill level, in the production of a denture by a production method for a denture involving using a reference denture, and a production method for a denture involving using the same. A denture base material package includes: a string-shaped molded body obtained by molding a photocurable denture base material having plastic deformability into a string shape; and a light-shielding member having an internal space kept airtight, and accommodating the string-shaped molded body in the internal space. The light-shielding member includes (i) a tray having a groove for accommodating the string-shaped molded body, and (ii) at least one kind of member selected from the group consisting of: a bag body configured to house the tray thereinside; and a lid member configured to seal an opening of the groove.
MULTIPLE LAYERED DENTURE BLOCK AND/OR DISK
This invention designs and builds multiple layers (two layers or more) of millable dental blocks or disks for milling of various dental devices, specifically denture base blocks or disks of denture base material, where milled teeth cavities to receive artificial denture tooth materials to form final dental devices, such as partial and full dentures. This invention also designs and builds multiple layers (two layers or more) of millable denture base or denture blocks or disks comprised of denture base or/and denture tooth materials to form final dental devices, such as partial and full dentures. A method for manufacturing a layered denture is provided. The invention provides a multiple layered denture base block (or disk) for milling a denture base. The invention also provides a multiple layered denture block (or disk) for milling a denture. Highly shape adjustable or shape memory polymer layer(s) may be used in these multiple layered forms. Different layer of material has different mechanical and physical properties to meet different need, which provide added benefits to the patients, dental professional and dental laboratory.
Dental devices and systems and methods for making the same
Dental devices and systems and methods for making the same are provided. In at least one embodiment, a method for fabricating an arch-shaped device for coupling to a patient's mouth is provided. The method can include disposing each of a plurality of teeth into respective teeth receptors of an inlay device, positioning the inlay device in a recess of a lower portion of a mold device, and coupling the lower portion to an upper portion of the mold device to sandwich the inlay device therebetween. The method can also include injecting a base compound into an injection hole of the mold device, and processing the base compound to integrate the base compound with the plurality of teeth.
COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING OF REMOVABLE PARTIAL DENTURE FRAMEWORKS WITH ENHANCED BIOMECHANICAL PROPERTIES
A method is provided for designing and fabricating a removable partial denture (RPD) framework including clasp retainers configured for removable engagement with abutment teeth of a patient. The method includes obtaining an initial digital model of the RPD framework based on patient image data. For each clasp retainer, a set of relevant geometric parameters is identified, each relevant geometric parameter being provided with a nominal value, and a target value of dislodging force is provided. The method further includes performing a force analysis on the initial digital model to determine corrected values for the relevant geometric parameters of each clasp retainer such that when the corrected values are assigned to the relevant geometric parameters, the dislodging force matches its target value. The method also includes obtaining a corrected digital model based on the corrected values, and fabricating the RPD framework based on the corrected digital model.
FORMED DENTURE AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A method of fabricating a denture, comprising milling a preliminary try-in denture from denture material comprising a layer of denture base material contiguous with a layer of denture tooth material. Denture base material is removed from the block to form a first part of the, labial, buccal, gingival, and flange regions of the denture base to form a preliminary denture. A preliminary mold is created from this preliminary denture. The preliminary denture is then further modified with deformable waxes in gingival and anterior tooth recesses to form a preliminary try-in denture, which is fitted to a patient and adjusted to optimal dimensions. The adjusted try-in denture is then reproduced by further molding methods, producing the final denture.
