Dental prosthesis, in particular on implants, optionally for the replacement of an entire dental arch, method and kit for making it
The invention concerns a dental prosthesis (1), in particular on implants, for the replacement of an entire dental arch and a method and a kit for making it. The dental prosthesis (1) comprises a structure (2) having a chewing portion (4) which can be substantially in the shape of a tooth or in the shape of a dental arch. The chewing portion (4) develops according to a direction of main development (X) between a contact edge (4a) suitable for engaging the tissues of the patient and a chewing edge (4b) opposite the contact edge (4a). The dental prosthesis (1) further comprises a plurality of hooking elements integrated in the structure (2) and can be engaged in respective endosteal implants applied in the mouth of a patient. The structure (2) is made through a plurality of fibers (5), of the carbon and/or glass and/or graphene type, which develop transverse to the main development (X) of the chewing portion (4), so as to distribute the chewing loads in the same way on the hooking elements (7) and, consequently, on the endosteal implants provided in the mouth of the patient.
Denture, reference denture, and denture manufacturing method
A denture including a denture base where artificial teeth are fixed, the denture base includes a reference denture base member to which the artificial teeth are fixed and an adjusting member formed of a cured body of a curable denture base material, the adjusting member being joined to the reference denture base member, the adjusting member includes an anterior adjusting member that is joined to a mucosal surface of a base anterior region to form an anterior region together with the base anterior region, and a posterior adjusting member that is joined to a mucosal surface of a base posterior region to form a posterior region together with the base posterior region, and at least parts of base edge side distal end regions in the anterior region and the posterior region are formed of the anterior adjusting member and the posterior adjusting member, respectively.
Dental Bar Implant and Overdenture and Process for Using.
A two-part denture and inlay for implanting within the jaw of an edentulous patient thereby restoring the aesthetics and ability of the patient to eat. The denture has a blade-like lower edge that fits into a corresponding groove in the upper surface of the inlay, in a friction-fit manner, so that the patient cannot easily remove the denture. However, using screws in threaded holes provided in the denture, the dental practitioner can disengage the denture from the inlay and replace the denture, when necessary. Also, a method of using the two-part denture and inlay is provided.
INJECTION-MOLDED PARTIAL DENTURE APPLIANCES
A method according to the disclosure herein includes producing, via additive manufacturing, a first mold portion having a first recess based on a tooth portion of a patient mouth; producing, via additive manufacturing, a second mold portion having a second recess based on a gum portion of the patient mouth; positioning at least one artificial tooth in the first recess; aligning the first mold portion with the second mold portion to form a mold assembly having a cavity defined by the first recess and the second recess; filling the cavity with a resin; and removing a partial denture from the mold, the partial denture formed by the resin and the at least one artificial tooth.
