METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GENERATING INTERDENTAL FILLER MODELS
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for generating an interdental filler model for a patient. Locations for ends of the interdental filler model may be determined. A curvature of the interdental filler model may be determined. A shape of the interdental filler model may be determined. A first arc may be determined for a first end of the interdental filler model and a second arc may be determined for a second end of the interdental filler model. A set of arcs may be interpolated between the first arc and the second arc. The set of arcs may be grounded on the patient's gingiva. The interdental filler model may be generated based on the set of arcs.
Method and system for providing feedback data useful in prosthodontic procedures associated with the intra oral cavity
Feedback data useful in prosthodontic procedures associated with the intra oral cavity is provided. First, a 3D numerical model of the target zone in the intra oral cavity is provided, and this is manipulated so as to extract particular data that may be useful in a particular procedure, for example data relating to the finish line or to the shape and size of a preparation. The relationship between this data and the procedure is then determined, for example the clearance between the preparation and the intended crown. Feedback data, indicative of this relationship, is then generated, for example whether the preparation geometry is adequate for the particular type of prosthesis.
Method for the preparation of glasses and glass ceramics with SiO2 as main crystal phase
The invention relates to a method for the preparation of a glass ceramic or a glass, which comprise cerium ions and are suitable in particular for the preparation of dental restorations, the fluorescence properties of which largely correspond to those of natural teeth. The invention also relates to a glass ceramic and a glass which can be obtained using the method according to the invention, the use thereof as dental material and in particular for the preparation of dental restorations, as well as a glass-forming composition which is suitable for use in the method according to the invention.
Dental Appliance and Method for Making the Same
Disclosed are example embodiments of methods and systems for improving teeth appearance and repositioning of the teeth. One of the systems is an appliance that includes: an outer shell with simulated teeth that approximate a final teeth arrangement; and inner cavities configured to receive a patient's teeth and to incrementally reposition the teeth toward the final teeth arrangement.
Virtual Dental Restoration Insertion Verification
A system and method include digitally determining a virtual insertion path of a digital dental restoration,
DENTAL BRIDGE
A dental bridge includes a mounting structure and at least one pontic or artificial tooth mounted to the mounting structure. The mounting structure includes a first bonding pad, a second bonding pad spaced from the first bonding pad, a rigid wire having a first end fixed to the first bonding pad and a second end fixed to the second bonding pad, and the pontic is secured to the rigid wire, for example via a pontic attachment structure on the rigid wire between the first bonding pad and the second bonding pad.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR ADHESION TO SURFACES
The present disclosure features adhesive compositions and methods of use thereof related to the medical, veterinary, and dental fields.
OVERDENTURE WITH HORIZONTAL IMPLANT
Apparatus is provided for overdenture with horizontal implant. The apparatus presented comprises an overdenture and a horizontal implant. The horizontal implant is surgically implanted onto the patient's maxilla or mandible, typically on the outside of the bone. The overdenture and the horizontal implant have attachment components which couple together to attach the overdenture to the horizontal implant. The attachment components may comprise ball-and-socket attachments, with the ball components affixed to the overdenture and the socket components affixed to the horizontal implants. The present invention solves problems with currently available dental implants and overdentures.
MISSING TOOTH SUPPLEMENTING DENTAL PROSTHESIS
The present invention relates to a missing tooth supplementing dental prosthesis that may provide the best wearing comfort regardless of the condition of a user's gums as the height of an end of a missing tooth supplementing member is adjusted according to the condition of the user's gums. The present disclosure proposes a missing tooth supplementing dental prosthesis including: a prosthetic body configured to be detachably worn in the oral cavity of a user who has at least one missing tooth, and provided with a fastening portion that is formed in a portion corresponding to a missing tooth; and a missing tooth supplementing member configured to be height-adjustably coupled to the fastening portion of the prosthetic body, to be height-adjusted according to the condition of the user's gums, and to supplement the missing tooth as an embodiment.
DENTURE BLOCK
The present invention provides a denture block capable of integrally and simply manufacturing a denture by using a CAD/CAM system. A denture is manufactured by cutting using a CAD/CAM system in a state in which the ridge portion 1b is gripped, has: an upper part which is a white part 2 to correspond to a tooth part of the denture; and a lower part which is a gingival color part 3 to correspond to a denture plate of the denture, wherein the white part 2 and the gingival color part 3 are integrally formed by being brought into close contact with each other with no gaps therebetween including the inside thereof, and a plurality of convex portions 4 and concave portions 5 are formed on an upper surface 3a which is the boundary surface of the gingival color part 3 with the white part 2.
