Dental Flosser with Floss Tensioner
A dental flosser includes a handle, a floss support coupled to the handle, a floss dispensing spool coupled to the handle, a floss collecting spool coupled to the handle, a thumbwheel coupled to the handle, and a spool brake coupled to the handle. The spool brake is configured to move between a first position where the spool brake prevents rotation of the floss dispensing spool and/or the floss collecting spool and a second position where the spool brake allows rotation of the floss dispensing spool and/or the floss collecting spool. The spool brake includes a release arm accessible from an exterior of the dental flosser and configured to move the spool brake between the first position and the second position.
FLOSS DISPENSER
A device includes a floss assembly comprising floss wound around a spool, an insert comprising a support surface and a post configured to support the floss assembly, and a housing having a front portion and a back portion. The front portion defines a front aperture and the back portion defines a back aperture. The front aperture and the back aperture are configured to receive the insert such that the support surface interfaces with the back portion and the post interfaces with the front portion.
Dental flosser
In one embodiment, a dental flosser includes a handle and a housing coupled to the handle. The housing includes a chamber for rotatably receiving a spool having first top and bottom surfaces and a side surface and having a supply of floss wound about the side surface, the supply of floss having second top and bottom surfaces. The housing further includes a floss orifice for directing at least a portion of the supply of floss therethrough. The dental flosser also includes an actuator including at least one contact surface configured to frictionally engage at least one of the first top surface, the first bottom surface, the second top surface, or the second bottom surface. The actuator further includes a biasing member for biasing the at least one contact surface relative to the spool.
Interdental brush
An interdental brush realizing reuse of parts by a simple structure includes a shaft portion including an internal passage which extends in an axial direction and of which distal end and base end are opened; and a brush on which fibers are implanted over an entire area of a core that is longer than extension length of the internal passage. The shaft portion further includes a grip portion of which a state is changed between a gripping state for gripping the brush, which has been inserted into the internal passage from an opening on a base end side and of which a part protrudes from an opening on a distal end side, to restrict the brush from moving in the axial direction, and a releasing state for releasing gripping of the brush to allow the brush to move in the axial direction.
Dental floss type tooth cleaning device
A dental floss type tooth cleaning device that is configured to clean tooth gap in oral cavity is disclosed. The invention is mainly configured to allow the user, who is preparing to use dental floss to clean tooth gap, to quickly wind the dental floss which follows a floss groove and is tightened and fixed. The dental floss can be dismantled quickly and disposed after use, so as to achieve a recyclable effect.
Dental flosser with floss tensioner
A dental flosser having a handle, a dental floss support mounted to the handle and having first and second projections, each projection defining a tip, a floss dispensing spool mounted to the handle, and a floss collecting spool mounted to the handle. The dental flosser also includes a thumbwheel operable to rotate the collecting spool to cause uptake of floss from the dispensing spool, across the tips of the first and second projections, and onto the collecting spool, and a spool brake member mounted to the handle and operable to fix rotated positions of the dispensing and collecting spools, and to automatically release the dispensing and collecting spools to rotate upon operating the thumbwheel.
DENTAL HYGIENE SYSTEM, DEVICE, AND/OR METHOD
A flosser is described comprising, floss, a body, a piece source spool and a single piece take-up spool. The source spool and take-up spool may snap into a source cavity and a take-up cavity, respectively. The source and take-up spools may be rotatably secured in the respective cavities using detent rings and snap rings. A cantilever flexure assembly is integrated into the body and includes a push button assembly and a ratchet flexure. The push button assembly controls rotation of the source spool for dispensing and tensioning floss. The ratchet flexure controls rotation of the take-up spool for collecting and tensioning floss.
Dispenser for disposable products
A refillable dispenser including a housing and a cover. The housing can include an internal cavity, an activation mechanism cavity separate from the internal cavity, and a multi-state actuator structured to alternate between compressed and extended positions. The internal cavity can be structured and configured to house individual products in a stacked orientation, and the activation mechanism cavity can house the multi-state actuator. The cover can include an open bottom and can fit over and around the housing. By pushing the cover down, the user activates the multi-state actuator and causes it to extend, which pushes the cover up and causes a bottom portion of the housing to be exposed so that the user can remove one product at a time. The dispenser can be mirrored about a vertical or horizontal plane to allow it to dispense from either end, thereby making the dispenser ambidextrous.
COLLAPSIBLE TOOTHBRUSH AND CASE
Disclosed herein is a novel toothbrush design and associated carrying case. In one embodiment the toothbrush may have a handle cylindrical in shape, and may break down into three separable sections, each joinable at threaded joints. One element may be configured to receive a removable bristle assembly. In one embodiment, the toothbrush elements may each be stored in separate compartments in the carrying case. The carrying case may also include a slidably extendible drawer configured to dispense floss. The carrying case may also include separate compartments for storing consumables such as toothpaste tablets and mouthwash tablets.
