The dental floss holder includes a body having a first corresponding fixer to which the first fixer is fixed and a mounting part on which a section for use of the dental floss is mounted, and a second corresponding fixer disposed at the body and to which the second fixer is fixed.

The housing further includes a floss orifice for directing at least a portion of the supply of floss therethrough. The dental flosser also includes an actuator including at least one contact surface configured to frictionally engage at least one of the first top surface, the first bottom surface, the second top surface, or the second bottom surface. The actuator further includes a biasing member for biasing the at least one contact surface relative to the spool.

Filament derived from a framed opening is placed through an open stud component of a said snap fastener and is held by the interlocking of said stud with a socket component of a said snap fastener. The device comprises two said snap fasteners distanced by said indentation about which said filament is manipulated and held into a personalized flaccid bight for the purpose of interdental cleaning.

The spool includes a cylindrical core having distal ends, and a circular flange disposed around the core at each distal end. The spool also includes a plurality of circular divider discs disposed around the core and positioned at spaced intervals between the flanges. Adjacent divider discs and flanges define a plurality of channels therebetween, and a length of dental floss is wound around the core within each of the plurality of channels. The act of moving between adjacent channels as the dental floss is unwound provides tactile feedback to a user to indicate that a predetermined length of dental floss has been unspooled.

The dissolvable component dissolves to a solution during use to deposit a residue on the surface of the teeth. The solution from the dissolving component may be colorized or fluorescent, and have an additive material such as mouthwash, breath freshener, cooling agent, or flavor.
