WATER FLOSSER WITH IMAGE SYSTEM
The present disclosure discloses a water flosser with an image system comprises a body, a water outlet spout, and an image system. The water outlet spout and a camera lens of the image system are disposed on the body, and an area covered by ejected water ejected from the water outlet spout at least partially coincides with an image area of the image system.
Water flosser tip having a container for treatment tablets
Some embodiments of the present disclosure include a water flosser handle for providing treatment deep into a user's gum pockets. The water flosser handle may include a chamber configured to hold a treatment tablet, a flosser tip attached to a distal end of the handle, and a water supply tube attached to a proximal end of the handle. The handle may be configured to allow passage of pressurized water therethrough into a user's mouth. A treatment tablet may be positioned within the chamber such that the water pressure of the water configured to flow through the handle at least partially dissolves and transports the treatment tablet into the user's mouth and gums.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR APPLICATION OF A SUBSTANCE
Embodiments of the present disclosure provides oral applicators and methods for applying a substance to a site inside a mouth cavity of a human or an animal. An oral applicator includes a body adapted for being held by a human hand. The oral applicator further includes an applicator head extending from the body. The applicator head also includes an applicator surface distally located in relation to the body and adapted for use in applying the substance to the site. Further, the oral applicator includes a gas stream generator present near the applicator head for directing a stream of gas from the applicator head. The site may be dried during at least one of prior to, during and after an application of the substance. The stream of gas may be directed via an outlet proximate to the applicator surface.
ORAL CARE DEVICE HAVING A PUMP-FREE FLUID DELIVERY SYSTEM
A powered oral care apparatus (2) has a pump-free fluid delivery system for delivering one or more fluids to the oral cavity of a user. The oral care apparatus may employ an oral care assembly (30) that has a capsule member (38) for delivering fluid through a number of openings (31, 46) in response to movement of a head (4) of the oral care apparatus. The oral care apparatus may also employ an oral care assembly (62) having a diaphragm member (84) and a mass member (88) coupled thereto wherein, in response to motion being imparted to the brushhead, the mass member and diaphragm member generate a pumping force to cause fluid to be delivered out of the oral care assembly.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERSONALIZED ORAL CARE
Described herein are systems and methods for providing personalized oral care. A system for oral care comprises an oral insert. The oral insert is sized and shaped according to a user's oral cavity, and has a plurality of fluid nozzles and an effluence conduit to channel fluid out of the user's oral cavity. Pressurized fluid provided through the nozzles are directed to, for example, the interproximal spaces between the user's teeth. In some variations, a system comprises an oral insert and an elastomeric substrate that is attached to the oral insert. In some variations, the elastomeric substrate comprises a textured surface vibrates and/or mechanically agitates and/or translates along the surface of the user's teeth. In some variations, a system for oral care comprises a microbiome collection chamber. Some variations comprise dental shim devices that are used for acquiring oral structure data and alignment between the upper and lower arches.
LASER-ASSISTED PERIODONTICS
There is a need for a minimally invasive surgical treatment method for periodontitis for the removal of deep pockets, elimination of disease, creation of reattachment of the gingiva to the tooth surface and true regeneration of the attachment apparatus (new cementum, new periodontal ligament, and new alveolar bone) on a previously diseased root surface. The PerioLase® MVP-7™ including eGUI or another device capable of laser dosimetry, such as an original MVP-7™ type laser without the eGUI, achieves this with the LANAP protocol (laser-assisted new attachment procedure) and the LENAP protocol (laser excisional new attachment procedure).
Systems and methods for personalized oral irrigation
Described herein are systems and methods for providing personalized oral irrigation. One variation of a system for personalized oral irrigation comprises a fluid reservoir and a customized oral insert in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir. The oral insert comprises an arrangement of fluid openings positioned based on the individual oral or dental structures of a user's teeth to provide a customized fluid flow over the user's teeth. Also described herein are methods for generating an arrangement of fluid openings in a customized oral insert.
Water floss pick
A multi-piece apparatus for performing dental hygiene includes a head portion including a concave support member; a floss attachment; and a tapered hollow water access portion. The hollow water access portion includes a water intake component continuous with a water exit component. A mechanism is connected to the head portion that reduces bacteria from the head portion. A handle portion is connected to the head portion and includes a first handle end; a second handle end; and a fluid aqueduct extending an entire internal length of the handle portion, wherein the fluid aqueduct is aligned with the water intake component and extends within the head portion. A hose is connected to the handle portion, wherein the hose is positioned to direct water to traverse through the fluid aqueduct.
Cannula and adapter for multifunction syringe
A cannula for a multifunction dental syringe includes a fastener bushing that is defined by a circular opening, an end wall, and a side wall comprising a circular cylinder. The cannula also includes at least two channels enabling fluids to be conveyed separately or together from the end wall to fluid projection orifices, and beginning in the end wall beside each other. The cannula is arranged so that the circular cylinder presents a cutout in the thickness of its wall. The cutout comprises, going from the opening, at least one segment extending in a direction other than the axial direction of the cylinder; followed by a longitudinal segment extending towards the end wall.
Cleaning appliance
A dental cleaning appliance includes a handle, a fluid delivery system for delivering working fluid to the teeth of a user, and a control circuit for actuating the delivery of working fluid to the teeth of the user depending on a received input. For each input, the control circuit is arranged to actuate the delivery of a series of bursts of working fluid to the teeth of the user.
