A removable fluid connection fitting for an oral irrigator is provided. The oral irrigator may include a base unit including an opening formed therein, an oral irrigator handle including a handle inlet, a fitting removably coupled to the base unit and seated within the opening formed in the base unit, and a tube in fluid communication with the fitting and the handle inlet. The fitting may include a fitting inlet and a fitting outlet, the fitting inlet being in fluid communication with the base unit. The tube may be in fluid communication with the fluid outlet. Fluid from the base unit may flow through the fitting inlet, to the fitting outlet, into the tube, and into the handle inlet.

An oral cleansing device including a base and a tip holder configured to hold a tip for the oral cleansing device, such as a brush head, a jet tip, or a combination tip. The tip holder may be removably coupled to the base.

A method for automatically initiating a dental handpiece waterline flushing mode in a dental delivery system comprises detecting whether at least first and second handpiece waterlines from a plurality of handpiece waterlines are removed from respective first and second rest positions of a control head for the dental delivery system. According to some implementations, if it is determined that no additional dental handpiece waterline which is flushable remains in a rest position of the control head, then the dental handpiece waterline flushing mode is automatically initiated for the first and second dental handpiece waterlines. In some implementations, a display is updated to provide information to a user, and an input from the user is received to begin flushing.

An oral cleansing device including a handle, a brush head removably connected to the handle at a top end of the handle, a base unit that supports a reservoir to serve as a fluid source, a fluid tube extending from the base unit, and a fluid connector connected to the fluid tube and removably connected to the handle at a bottom end of the hand to connect the handle to the fluid source. The fluid connector includes a magnetic element configured to provide a magnetic attraction to the base unit, thereby assisting in securing the fluid connector to the base unit.

The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for electronic control of an operating level of an oral irrigator, particularly when flow from the oral irrigator is paused. Methods for controlling an operational level include: determining an operational level of the oral irrigator, including whether the operational level is a standby mode; receiving sensor data from one or more sensors; determining whether a key sensor indicator is above, below, or at a threshold. If the key sensor indicator is above a threshold, the operational level is changed to standby mode. If the key sensor indicator is at or below the threshold, the operational level remains at the current level. If the key sensor indicator is below the threshold, and the current operational level is the standby mode, the operational level is changed to the operational level set before entering standby mode.

A toothbrush or oral cleaning implement including a handle defining a first fluid conduit and a handle inlet port, a brush tip extending from a first end of the handle and defining a second fluid conduit, the second fluid conduit in fluid communication with the first fluid conduit, a brush head supported on an end of the brush tip including a fluid outlet in fluid communication with the second fluid conduit, a handle valve positioned between the handle inlet port and the first fluid conduit, and a base removably connected to the second end of the handle. The base including a base fluid inlet port that connects with an external fluid source, a base fluid outlet port in fluid communication with the base fluid inlet port, and a base valve that selectively opens and closes the base fluid outlet port.

A personal care device, such as an irrigator, which may be an oral irrigator, a nasal irrigator, or similar. The personal care device may be used to cleanse a user's oral cavity, such as by injecting a liquid such as water into the spaces between a user's teeth. The device may include two housings that are slidably coupled together, with the upper housing containing the electronic components and the lower housing containing a reservoir for holding water or other liquids that are to be dispensed. During use, the lower housing may slide upwardly as the liquid is dispensed due to the formation of a vacuum inside of the cavity of the lower housing. Thus, an air flow passageway may be formed that extends from the ambient into the cavity of the lower housing. The device may also include a cap with a locking closure to prevent accidental opening and spilling.

The present disclosure provides an oral hygiene device member capable of further reducing a burden on a target object in an oral cavity and capable of maintaining a cleaner state while suppressing deterioration in cleaning performance. Oral hygiene device member according to the present disclosure comprises handle having flow path through which liquid is allowed to pass. Oral hygiene device member comprises head comprising: head body connected to one end side of handle; and head material held by head body. Head material comprises a cleaning part. The cleaning part is exposed from the head body in a state of being held by the head body. The cleaning part is formed of fibers that clean a target object in an oral cavity. Liquid supply path is formed in the head. The liquid supply path communicates with the flow path and supplies liquid to the cleaning part.

A water pump connecting structure for an oral irrigator, including: a pump body, a piston ring, a connecting rod assembly, and a driving assembly. The piston ring is arranged on the inner side wall of the pump body, the connecting rod assembly penetrates into the pump body and penetrates through the piston ring. The piston ring is in interference connection with the connecting rod assembly. The connecting rod assembly is connected to the driving assembly and makes reciprocating motion in the pump body through the driving of the driving assembly and the guidance of the piston ring. The connecting rod assembly and the piston ring are configured to cooperate with each other to draw liquid from a water inlet of the pump body and to pump the liquid out from a water outlet of the pump body, during reciprocating motion of the connecting rod assembly.

An oral irrigator system having an ergonomic casing with a pliable nozzle assembly, and coupled to a detachable and refillable fluid reservoir. The ergonomic casing contains a power source and a pump mechanism. The detachable nozzle head delivers a pulsating jet of fluid with adjustable speed into the oropharyngeal cavity. When the system is turned on, the rechargeable battery activates the diaphragm pump to draw fluid from the reservoir using a fluid pipe and delivers the fluid to the tip of the nozzle head.
