APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLED FLUID COOLING DURING LASER BASED DENTAL TREATMENTS
A system for dental tissue treatment includes a system for directing a laser beam to an area of dental tissue to be treated, and a fluid-delivery system for directing and controlling a flow of a fluid. The fluid is directed to at least a portion of the area to be treated and the fluid flow is controlled to substantially prevent both a change in laser energy absorption by the dental tissue and attenuation of treatment efficiency due to fluid interference with the laser beam. The fluid present in at least a portion of the area to be treated may prevent or reduce the likelihood of melting of enamel in that area.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERSONALIZED ORAL IRRIGATION
Described herein are systems and methods for providing personalized oral irrigation. One variation of a system for personalized oral irrigation comprises a fluid reservoir and a customized oral insert in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir. The oral insert comprises an arrangement of fluid openings positioned based on the individual oral or dental structures of a user's teeth to provide a customized fluid flow over the user's teeth. Also described herein are methods for generating an arrangement of fluid openings in a customized oral insert.
ORAL CARE DEVICE AND ORAL CARE METHOD
An oral care device for providing oral-cavity information to a user or a manager includes: a liquid supply unit; a mouthpiece connected to the liquid supply unit and including a spatial portion configured to accommodate at least one of an upper tooth side and a lower tooth side when the mouthpiece is inserted into an oral cavity; a pump connected to the mouthpiece and configured to suction liquid from the liquid supply unit and introduce the liquid into the spatial portion and to suction fluid from the spatial portion; a storage unit connected to the pump and configured to store or discharge fluid suctioned from the spatial portion; and a measuring unit connected to the storage unit and configured to measure a state of fluid stored in the storage unit, wherein liquid is introduced to the spatial portion from the liquid supply unit only by suction force of the pump.
Oral Care Cleaning System Utilizing Entrained Fluid
The present invention provides for oral care systems comprising: an appliance comprising a first and second plurality of nozzles, the appliance configured to be held in the mouth of a user with the first and second plurality of nozzles in fluid communication with one or more surfaces of the user's oral cavity; a source of gas; a source of liquid; and a fluid controller for directing entrained fluid to the appliance. Also provided are methods of cleaning, or otherwise providing oral care benefits to, one or more surfaces of the oral cavity using a system of the present invention.

DENTAL CLEANING DEVICE USING OZONATED WATER
A dental cleaning device for personal use, said device comprising a main base comprising at least one drinking water inlet and one water outlet and a cleaning element suitable to be hand held by a user and fluidly connected to the said main base, the said cleaning element comprising a plurality of water ejection orifices to enable the teeth to be rinsed, the main base comprising ozone injection means so as to supply ozonated water to disinfect the teeth when rinsing.
Water control valve
A water control valve includes a valve body defining a valve body internal cavity, a first air inlet passageway in communication with the valve body internal cavity, a first water outlet passageway in communication with the valve body internal cavity, and a water inlet passageway. The water control valve further includes a valve cartridge removably coupled to the valve body. The valve cartridge is sized to fit at least partially within the valve body internal cavity. The valve cartridge defines a second air inlet passageway and a second water outlet passageway. The first air inlet passageway is aligned with the second air inlet passageway and the first water outlet passageway is aligned with the second water outlet passageway when the valve cartridge is coupled to the valve body.
Irrigator fluidic communication
An oral irrigator having an irrigator tip, the tip including a handle portion, a tip portion, a channel in fluid communication with the tether and arranged within the handle portion and the tip portion, and an actuator located on or within the handle portion, the actuator arranged to at least partially altar a flow of a fluid through the channel. The oral irrigator further includes a housing, the housing having a reservoir in fluid communication with a pump sub-assembly, a sensor arranged to measure a first pressure or first electrical load within the pump sub-assembly, and a control unit arranged to control an operational current provided to the pump sub-assembly where operation of the actuator produces a second pressure or electrical load measured by the sensor and the control unit is arranged to alter the operational current of the motor in response to the change.
TOOTH CLEANER
The invention discloses a tooth cleaner mainly composed of a brace and a handle, the brace comprises an upper tooth socket and a lower tooth socket, a plurality of small open holes which are arranged at intervals are distributed in the upper tooth socket and the lower tooth socket, one end of each of the small open holes is connected with a first guide pipe embedded into the brace, the other ends of the first guide pipes extend into the handle and are connected with a pump outlet of a pump module arranged inside the handle, the pump module also comprises a pump air inlet and a pump water inlet, the pump water inlet of the pump module is connected with a water storage module in the handle by a guide pipe, and the pump air inlet of the pump module communicates with an air inlet in the surface of the handle by a guide pipe. By using the tooth cleaner, the problems of poor cleaning and atomizing effects and poor user experience of the original tooth cleaner are solved.
ORAL CAVITY WASHER USING COMPRESSED AIR
The present invention relates to an oral cavity cleaning device. The oral cavity cleaning device may include an air injection portion that injects high pressure air; a cleaning liquid tank that cleaning liquid is stored therein; an acceleration portion that is connected to the cleaning liquid tank through a first pipe body and is connected to an air injection portion through a second pipe body, and draws out cleaning liquid form the cleaning liquid tank by pressure difference and injects this, if high pressure air is supplied from the air injection portion; a nozzle portion that is connected to the acceleration portion by a pipe body and makes the cleaning liquid injected by high pressure air be injected to a tooth; and a switching portion that controls the air injection portion to reduce, increase injection amount of cleaning liquid, or stop the cleaning liquid.
