The invention relates to an oral cleaning system (100) for cleaning teeth with a combination of brushing and interdental liquid cleaning. The oral cleaning system (100) comprises a cleaning head (200) as well as a support unit (300) having a fluid reservoir (350) for containing a fluid (110). The cleaning head (200) comprises a brush (240) for brushing the teeth, and an orifice (250) for emitting a part of the fluid (110) for interdental liquid cleaning. A first fluid channel (210) guides the fluid from the fluid reservoir to a hydraulic motor (230) driving the brush (240), and to the orifice (250). The cleaning head (200) further comprises a second fluid channel (220) configured for transporting at least a part of the fluid (110) back from the hydraulic motor (230) to the fluid reservoir (350) of the support unit (300).

AN ULTRASONIC CLEANING DEVICE
20220160483 · 2022-05-26 · ·

Ultrasonic cleaning methods may be enhanced by adding certain particles to a liquid through which ultrasonic waves travel through. Specifically, metal nitrites, metal carbides, and metal oxide particles may be used separately or together, to enhance the cleaning effect. When such nanoparticles are added to a liquid medium, and ultrasonic sound waves propagate therethrough, cavitation bubbles form producing high forces on contaminates which adhere to the object being cleaned. The nanoparticles are carried by microjets on the surface of the object, and further aid in disinfecting and sterilizing the objects surface.

Oral cavity washing device

An oral cavity washing device includes a nozzle and a pump that supplies a liquid to the nozzle. The nozzle has a nozzle flow passage and a reduced part that is disposed in an intermediate part of the nozzle flow passage and that is smaller in cross-sectional area than a rest of the nozzle flow passage. A first flow passage and a second flow passage that are in parallel to each other are disposed between the nozzle and the pump. The first flow passage has a first valve that causes the first flow passage to be opened only when the pump sucks the liquid. The second flow passage has a second valve that causes the second flow passage to be opened only during discharge performed by the pump.

Cleaning appliance

A fluid delivery system for a dental cleaning appliance includes a nozzle for delivering a burst of working fluid to the teeth of a user, and a fluid conduit for conveying working fluid to the nozzle. A body of the nozzle defines a fluid chamber and a channel for conveying working fluid from the fluid chamber to a fluid outlet from the nozzle. The fluid chamber has a tangential inlet for receiving working fluid from the fluid conduit.
