SUCTION ADAPTER DEVICE
Aspects of embodiments of the present invention disclose a suction adapter used in aspirating fluid from a particular site. The adapter device may include a nozzle configured to connect with suction tubing connected with a suction source, a drain end, structurally configured to connect the adapter with a drain tube, where the drain tube may be used to aspirate a site such as a surgical site. The adapter may also include: a channel within the adapter enabling fluid flow and a suction controlling fenestration extending from the channel to the adapter's external surface. The fenestration enables a user, by progressively opening or closing the fenestration, to vary suction within the suction adapter which, in turn, varies the flow of fluid through the adapter.
Medical, in particular dental-medical, fan
A medical, in particular dental-medical, fan for extracting or compressing a gaseous working fluid, in particular air, comprises a compressor unit with an outer housing, which comprises an inlet opening for the working fluid and an outlet opening for the working fluid, which are fluidically connected to one another, and which defines a compressor sector and a drive sector.
Compact extraoral suction passage tip
A compact extraoral suction passage tip to help protect a dentist from infectious materials. The compact extraoral suction passage tip is made of an internal suction passage. The proximal end can be slid into a High Volume Evacuator (HVE) valve or other suctioning device, and the distal end can be placed near a patient's mouth to collect infectious materials and placed in a position that will not significantly impede dental operations. The distal end is shaped so that it can lie on or near the upper portion of a patient's bottom lip to provide suction capability. One embodiment contains ridges to help patients know where to hold the compact extraoral suction passage tip.
