MAGNETICALLY COUPLED INTEGRATED ULTRASONIC TESTING AND CATHODIC PROTECTION MEASUREMENT PROBE
This application discloses magnetically coupled integrated probes and probe systems, attachable to the robotic arms of a remotely operated vehicle to perform both cathodic protection (CP) voltage measurements and ultrasonic testing (UT) thickness measurements at an underwater surface. The integrated probe system can include a spring for coupling to an ROV end effector. An ultrasonic probe is disposed within and extends from the sleeve housing. A magnetic carrier, flux concentrator, and gimbal surround a portion of the ultrasonic probe, and one or more electrically conductive legs extend from the front surface of the gimbal to function as a CP probe. The legs are arranged about the ultrasonic probe, which has a flexible membrane exposed at the front surface of the gimbal, such that during inspection, at least one leg contacts the surface and the ultrasonic probe is sufficiently proximate to provide substantially simultaneous CP and UT measurements.
Fiber optics to monitor pipeline cathodic protection systems
A system implementing fiber optics to monitor pipeline cathodic protection systems includes a cathodic protection system coupled to a hydrocarbon pipeline and a fiber optic system connected to the cathodic protection system. The cathodic protection system passes a current through the hydrocarbon pipeline to control corrosion of the hydrocarbon pipeline. The fiber optic system measures the current flowing through the hydrocarbon pipeline over time and provides the measured current.

SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND METHODS TO ASSESS CORROSION PREVENTION
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide devices, systems and methods for monitoring anti-corrosion efforts including the efficacy of cathodic protection systems. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide devices, systems and methods for remote cell cathodic protection (CP) survey data acquisition to sense, display, and record CP survey voltage potential measurements as well as global positioning system and navigation data. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide improvements in terms reduced noise and improved signal quality through the use of copper conductors that connect electrochemical reference cells (i.e., electrodes) to measuring apparatus. Further, improved signal detection is provided by embodiments including reference electrodes that may be placed further (e.g., up to 1000 feet) from a surface vessel than are found in conventional system. Disclosed embodiments also provide highly precise spatial mapping of CP potentials (e.g., to within 0.5 mm spatial resolution in 1000 feet of depth).

Method and system for monitoring powered anode drive level
A powered anode current drive device is configured to automatically determine an anode drive current that offsets galvanic corrosion in a vessel. A method alerts a user on a change of an output of a powered anode current drive device. The method includes receiving an anode drive level output of the powered anode current drive device, determining electrical characteristics of the anode drive level output, analyzing the determined electrical characteristics for anomalous behavior, and generating an alert of the anomalous behavior.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING CATHODIC PROTECTION DEGRADATION
Systems and methods for monitoring anodic protection are disclosed. The system can include a sacrificial anode having an anode body, at least one cavity within the anode body, a conductor disposed within the at least one cavity, and electronic circuitry in communication with the conductor. The sacrificial anode can be electrically connected to a component or structure that is subject to galvanic corrosion. The cavity can be positioned such that as the anode degrades to a certain point, the conductor will contact water. In response, an alert can be provided to inform a user that the sacrificial anode needs replacement. The alert can be provided by activating a light, siren, or other device. The alert can also be sent to a mobile device or website.
