Root canal filling material marker
The root canal filling material marker is a tool for marking a desired length on root canal filling material, such as a conventional gutta percha point. In use, the gutta percha point is inserted into a hollow housing through an aperture formed in a front wall thereof. The gutta percha point is releasably gripped between spring-biased clamp jaws. A shaft is longitudinally positioned to a desired marking point at a desired length of the gutta percha point and then laterally pulled. Laterally pulling the shaft slides an applicator, which is secured to the shaft within the housing, across a marking agent and the gutta percha point to make a laterally extending mark on the gutta percha point at the desired length.
LATERAL BRANCH DETECTION DEVICE, LATERAL BRANCH DETECTION PROBE, LATERAL BRANCH DETECTION METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR SAME
Provided is a lateral branch detection probe whereby the condition of a lateral branch can be detected merely by inserting the lateral branch detection probe to an apex. A lateral branch detection probe detects, after insertion thereof into a root canal of a tooth, the presence/absence of a lateral branch and the position of the lateral branch in the root canal axis direction, the lateral branch detection probe being provided with a plurality of measurement electrodes extending to different positions in the root canal axis direction at predetermined intervals. The measurement electrodes constitute a measurement terminal group in which each measurement electrode is covered with an insulator except for one end portion, and another end portion thereof is connectable to a detection-purpose power supply on a detection device side.
Dental treatment apparatus and method of driving the same
In a dental treatment apparatus, a control circuit controls a drive motor in accordance with a drive sequence. The drive sequence includes a plurality of drive patterns and at least one of the plurality of drive patterns is different from other drive pattern. The plurality of drive patterns include at least one drive pattern having such drive that a cutting tool is rotated in a cutting direction for cutting a treatment portion and drive for rotating the cutting tool in a non-cutting direction which is reverse to the cutting direction.
ENDODONTIC DEVICES
A device for measuring the length of a root canal of a subject is provided. The device includes a flexible sheath slidable over a dental handpiece head. The sheath includes electrically conducting wires for connecting to an apex locator. Also provided is a device for measuring root canal length that includes an endodontic file having a metallic element at the file end far from the end inserted into a root canal. The modified file provides a region in the metallic element for electronic attachment to an apex locator such that the rubber stopper may be moved along the entire file surface without interference.
DENTAL OBSERVATION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING DENTAL IMAGE
A dental observation device by which, without displaying, in an overlapping manner, a visible light image of an image-capturing site in an oral cavity captured by a 3-D camera and 3-D image information on the image-capturing site in the oral cavity acquired in advance, an invisible portion in the visible light image is easily recognized.
An observation system includes a visible light 3-D camera; a relative position calculator; a 3-D information storage storing 3-D image information acquired in advance; an image display displaying, side by side, a 2-D captured image captured by the visible light 3-D camera and 2-D converted image based on the 3-D image information corresponding to the surgical operation target site; and a display direction adjuster displaying, in the image display, the 2-D converted image in a predetermined direction on the basis of the image-capturing direction detected by the relative position calculator.
DENTAL TREATMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD OF DRIVING THE SAME
A dental treatment apparatus includes a handpiece holding a cutting tool in its head, a drive portion driving the cutting tool held by the head, and a control portion controlling the drive portion in accordance with a drive sequence. The drive sequence includes at least one forward rotation drive for rotating the cutting tool in a cutting direction to cut a treatment portion and at least one reverse rotation drive for rotating the cutting tool in a non-cutting direction. Under the control of the drive portion in accordance with the drive sequence, a cumulative amount of rotation which is an accumulation of an amount of rotation in forward rotation drive and an amount of rotation in reverse rotation drive does not exceed a set value at any time point.
Apex locator
The present invention provides a root canal length measuring device including: a measuring module configured to include a file hook electrically connected to an endodontic file, and a lip hook to be connected to a lip or a gum; a control module configured to measure the value of impedance which varies as the file moves from the surface of a tooth toward the apex of the root of the tooth, and provide an image signal or a sound signal representing information on the position of the apex of the root and information on the length of the apex of the root; and a communication module configured to receive the image signal or the sound signal from the control module, and wirelessly transmit the received signal to a smart device in real time.
ROOT CANAL TREATMENT APPARATUS
The A root canal treatment apparatus includes: a handpiece configured to hold a cutting tool in a head in a drivable manner; a motor driver and a micromotor configured to drive the cutting tool; a root canal length measurement circuit; and a control portion. The root canal length measurement circuit is configured to electrically detect a position of a tip end of the cutting tool in a root canal, using the cutting tool as a measuring electrode. The control portion is configured to perform drive for reversely rotating the cutting tool by a predetermined set angle (180 degrees) when the position of the tip end of the cutting tool detected by the root canal length measurement circuit reaches a predetermined set position, and then, stopping rotation.
