The present invention discloses a cavity preparation assembly and a guiding sleeve for immediate implantation in an oral molar region, wherein the guiding sleeve comprises a lower sleeve and an upper sleeve disposed on a top of the lower sleeve, center portions of the upper sleeve and the lower sleeve each has a guiding hole and the guiding holes of the upper sleeve and the lower sleeve are connected, and an axis direction of the guiding hole is a vertical direction; sidewalls of the upper sleeve and the lower sleeve are each provided with a slit passing through the sidewalls, and the slit of the upper sleeve and the slit of the lower sleeve are located on a same side of the cavity preparation guiding sleeve; the upper sleeve is further provided with an installation plate on both sides of the slit, the installation plate is connected to the sidewalls on both sides of the slit of the upper sleeve. The cavity preparation assembly comprises a depth calibration drilling tool and a plurality of guiding sleeves. The present invention not only facilitates observation of the position of the drilling tool, prevent the drilling tool from sliding, but also provides the cooling water channels to cool the drilling tool, avoiding osteonecrosis. The depth calibration drilling tool performs precise cavity preparation according to the preparation depth.

Dental instrument with removable dental tip and method of assembly

A dental instrument includes at least one removable or replaceable dental tip. The dental instrument includes a spring actuated collet and collar housed internally within a handle. The handle includes a handle center affixed to a center rod and a grip portion housing the collet and collar and a handle center affixed to a center rod. The center rod is affixed to the collet. The collet includes spring fingers that are biased radially inward by the collar to retain the dental tip. When the grip portion of the handle is rotated about a longitudinal axis of the handle relative to the handle center, camming surfaces associated with the grip portion and the handle center cause translational movement along the longitudinal axis to engage or disengage the collar from the collet.

A cavity preparation assembly and a guiding sleeve for immediate implantation in an oral molar region, wherein the guiding sleeve comprises a lower sleeve and an upper sleeve disposed on a top thereof, center portions of the upper sleeve and the lower sleeve each has a guiding hole and the guiding holes are connected; sidewalls of the upper sleeve and the lower sleeve are each provided with a slit therethrough; the upper sleeve has an installation plate on both sides of the slit, the installation plate is connected to the sidewalls. The cavity preparation assembly comprises a depth calibration needle and a plurality of guiding sleeves. The present invention not only facilitates observation of the position of the needle, prevent the needle from sliding, but also provides the cooling water channels to cool the needle, avoiding osteonecrosis. The depth calibration needle performs precise cavity preparation according to the preparation depth.

DENTAL RETRACTOR WITH MICRO MIRROR
20210045625 · 2021-02-18 · ·

This invention is related to a dental retractor including a body part having a handle portion, a neck portion extending from the handle portion, and a mirror part having a micro mirror, which is detachably attached to an end of the neck portion, such that the projection can be inserted in to a hole formed at a surgical site to observe an inside the hole. According to the present invention, since the dental retractor has the mirror part for observing the interior of the oral cavity, the number of operations, the number of persons required for the operation and the working time are reduced and it is not necessary to separately use a dental mirror. In addition, since the dental retractor has a mirror such as a micro mirror at the head portion, a doctor or other practitioner/technician can use the other hand to perform a medical examination.

Multifunctional dental liner applicator
10959809 · 2021-03-30 · ·

A multifunctional dental liner applicator dispenses tooth liner and a stream of air while illuminating the working dental area. The applicator includes a body and a head that is removably attached to a distal end of the body. The head supports a nozzle that is configured to be inserted into a void of a prepared tooth. A liner button on the body controls a valve for dispensing liner out of the nozzle. An air button controls airflow out of openings adjacent the nozzle for drying an area that is receiving liner. Fiber optic fibers extend from a button controlled light source housed in the body to openings adjacent the nozzle for illuminating the working area.

LATERAL BRANCH DETECTION DEVICE, LATERAL BRANCH DETECTION PROBE, LATERAL BRANCH DETECTION METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR SAME

Provided is a lateral branch detection probe whereby the condition of a lateral branch can be detected merely by inserting the lateral branch detection probe to an apex. A lateral branch detection probe detects, after insertion thereof into a root canal of a tooth, the presence/absence of a lateral branch and the position of the lateral branch in the root canal axis direction, the lateral branch detection probe being provided with a plurality of measurement electrodes extending to different positions in the root canal axis direction at predetermined intervals. The measurement electrodes constitute a measurement terminal group in which each measurement electrode is covered with an insulator except for one end portion, and another end portion thereof is connectable to a detection-purpose power supply on a detection device side.

Artificial Intelligence Architecture For Identification Of Periodontal Features

Dental images are processed according to a first machine learning model to determine teeth labels. The teeth labels and image are concatenated and processed using a second machine learning model to label anatomy including CEJ, JE, GM, and Bone. The anatomy labels, teeth labels, and image are concatenated and processed using a third machine learning model to obtain feature measurements, such as pocket depth and clinical attachment level. The feature measurements, anatomy labels, teeth labels, and image may be concatenated and input to a fourth machine learning model to obtain a diagnosis for a periodontal condition. Feature measurements and/or the diagnosis may be processed according to a diagnosis hierarchy to determine whether a treatment is appropriate. Machine learning models may further be used to reorient, decontaminate, and restore the image prior to processing. Machine learning models may be embodied as CNN, GAN, and cyclic GAN.
